Music Review Websites?
 

Does anyone know of any online archive/forum type websites where you can write reviews for all genres of music?

I'm a reviewer on Progarchives.com, but would like to kinda branch out and review other stuff like metal, rap, pop etc, but if possible do it all under one website.

I found allmusic.com, but I'm not too keen on that website, and to be honest I think you have to pay for membership or something?

Any help would be much appreciated. :wave:

Short of actually being John Peel I can't see why you'd want to be reviewing loads of stuff instead of sticking to genres you like and basing this purely on your username I can't imagine you being a big pop aficionado

hmm can't think of a site that lets you review for all types of music but... metal-archives.com is great for just focusing towards "true" metal.

I'll check it out. It's not about 'hiring' for me. Progarchives is basically a huge music archive where anyone can submit reviews.

Because despite my name (which is soooo ten years ago I might add), I'm actually into all sorts of music. The website I go on already specialises is Progressive music, but I'd like a chance to review other albums from different genres.

Pitchfork usually points me in the right direction, but they are really pretentious and generally a bit overly critical.

But considering that, when they give an album a good review you can bet it's a damn good album
