Sean Waltman No-Shows TNA Lockdown

...I woulda expected Hall to do this before Waltman.

VSG 04-19-2010 12:52 AM

No, Waltman is smarter than Hall!

YoungFlyFlashy 04-19-2010 12:53 AM

Man I do not understand these washed up performers stilli messing up after being given 6543 chances. No other "sport" let alone job does this. No sense.

ImpactPlayer365 04-19-2010 01:01 AM

He did this purposely it appears. Just lost in his own fucked up mind, didnt want to job to 3D? come on.

Come on, he did Chyna and released a video of him and him. How smart can he be.

The Gold Standard 04-19-2010 01:11 AM

The sad thing is if it were someone like Anderson or Joe, they would be fired, but because it is Waltman and he is friends with Hogan he will be given another chance, providing it is not apart of a storyline

More like Chyna did him, and he was smart enough to atleast cheat stupid guys off their money by selling it!

Ol Dirty Dastard 04-19-2010 01:25 AM

he seems like a nice guy, but he's gott a lot of demons. Hope he can eventually pull himself together.

I have never heard anything bad about him as a person.

tjmidnight420 04-19-2010 01:33 AM

Couldn't really care about X-Pac at this point. Fire him, he's taking up space on the roster anyway.

I don't care about him either. He should have never came in the first place.

TheAdamEvansFan 04-19-2010 01:52 AM

It's part of a storyline. Come on people. He was working the Indy show due to the publicity he was getting from his return to TNA. He wouldn't jeopardize it. It's part of a storyline. Don't be so gullible.

How can you be so sure?

Agreed, and this isn't the first time he's fucked up with TNA, I think.

screech 04-19-2010 02:17 AM

He can still work, but it does him no good if he doesn't show up. Can't say I'm surprised, though.

screech 04-19-2010 02:18 AM

I'm still surprised at what good shape he is in considering he was just about dead two years ago.

Fat Aaron 04-19-2010 02:31 AM

I hope he does get canned. At least then I won't have to see him if I watch TNA.

Wishbone 04-19-2010 02:31 AM

this is why bringing in Hogan was a bad idea TNA is dieing plain and simple:nono:

Assuming this is not a work as it likely is not, how is Hogan responsible for Waltmans actions? I'm no Pro-Hogan guy but to blame this particular situation on him is ridiculous.

jskinnyg 04-19-2010 02:41 AM

Unprofessional Piece of S***... It's unbelievable how many chances these companies have given him.. I am afraid this will be Waltman's Death Nell... Damn no more bronco busters? That was a manly finisher...

Jordan 04-19-2010 02:45 AM

Such a disappointment. He could have had a few good ones left in him. Now nobody will take him.

Mr. Nerfect 04-19-2010 03:06 AM

If this isn't a work (and it's stupid if this is a work), then I hope TNA just goes ahead and cuts him. Fuck Waltman off. Sometimes he might be able to have a good match; but he's just such an ass that it's not worth it. Cut Scott Hall while you're at it.

I would be fine with cutting Scott Hall, but in his defense at least he showed up this time and did his job. Actually, screw defending him. Cut his ass too.

KayfabeMan 04-19-2010 03:40 AM

Waltman needs to be let go.

He's horrible.

Brock 04-19-2010 05:41 AM

it wil be fun if he appeared on raw.. and replace hbk to be the new DX.. LOL!

Sixx 04-19-2010 05:55 AM

Remember the talk about Beer Money vs Drug Money feud in the other thread?

Well, Hall and Waltman should split up and join their respective teams.

Swiss Ultimate 04-19-2010 09:50 AM

I saw Waltman down in South Florida at a FIP show. He was in good shape and put on a decent 6 minute match, I was impressed. I guess, despite his talent, he is still a total mess!

tjmidnight420 04-19-2010 09:50 AM

Interestingly I thought Scott was in slightly better shape last night than the last time I saw TNA.

kareru 04-19-2010 09:55 AM

what an idiot, he's given yet another chance at a big company and he blows it (yet again) unlike hall who actually looks as if he wants to be there

The voices in his head told him.

Anyway, this is pretty much what TNA deserves. Their theme song should be the Who's "We Won't Get Fooled Again."

In today's TNA news, another has-been with demons screws up and somehow lets down the company.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Londoner 04-19-2010 10:12 AM

Haha, i got the chance to watch him on impact recently and was shocked at how much he's aged. The gimmick he's still doing just doesn't suit him now.

Nicky Fives 04-19-2010 10:21 AM

I wouldn't be surprised if this was a work......

TheAdamEvansFan 04-19-2010 11:32 AM

It's a work. But if it's not. Then good for X Pac. Maybe the new found fame will get him a job back in the WWE. DX is dead unless someone is really able to team up with Triple H. I think Xpac fits the role of Shawn Michaels incredibly, and not to mention the fact that he is DX.

Xero 04-19-2010 11:35 AM

According to PWInsider he was telling people at an indy show on Saturday that he wasn't going to go to the PPV.

Not saying he wasn't working them, but maybe he just up and quit.

Xero 04-19-2010 11:43 AM

From PWInsider:

TNA Wrestling was aware on either Wednesday or Thursday that Sean Waltman would not be at the Lockdown PPV yesterday. The "no show" was an announcement that was made by the company to cover the fact that Waltman would not be at the show. He is expected at television this week in some fashion.

Some within the company were told that Waltman was sick, although he did work the night before for Great Lakes Championship Wrestling in Minnesota. Others believed it may have been an issue with being licensed in Missouri. I haven't been able to confirm which is the case, although I have confirmed the company knew several days ago he wouldn't be at the PPV.

The Jayman 04-19-2010 11:45 AM

it's a work
