Yes new Sage album out May 11. Seeing him live May 18th for the first time in like 3 years, so fucking excited.

You can download a couple of tracks from the album here: Life Is Just A Lie. Both tracks are hot, but the Best of Times is pretty astonishing.

And if you're a square who is unaware of Sage Francis, he's one of the finest rappers ever. Don't sleep on him.

I do love me some Sage Francis but "one of the finest rappers ever" might be pushing it.

He is certainly one of my favorites ever


But I'm not a huge rap guy, either.

A Healthy Distrust and Hope were easily his two best. Human the Death Dance was not very good so I am skeptical.....do you like B. Dolan?

Yeah B is damn good. I tend to prefer his spoken word stuff over his raps though. He's opening for Sage when I see him :)

I don't know if I will be able to see him live in Ottawa, I would love to. He is amazing.
