Brewster's Millions

Awesome film. I first saw it when I was a kid. I recently went back and rewatched it, and it's still great. A true 80's classic in my view with three great actors who are sadly know longer with us. Richard Pryor, John Candy, & Hume Cronyn who were freakin' amazing in this movie.

For those who have never seen it, or want to revisit it, this scene sums up what the movie is about. Spoiler-free, but will tell you the plot.

There were train tracks in the outfield. That's about the jist of what I remember of the movie.

Yes. Love it.

I thought this was going to be about a remake and I was going to get pissed off.

Big Fat Mike 04-25-2010 06:14 PM

The remake would star Dave Chapelle.

Does that make you more angry?

Droford 04-25-2010 06:19 PM

I was thinking Chris Rock but whatever

Triple Naitch 04-25-2010 06:24 PM

Most likely would star Cedric the Entertainer or something horrible.

Big Fat Mike 04-25-2010 06:25 PM

Steve Harvey and Jonah Hill.

The 85' one was actually a remake itself.

There have been several versions, but since it's based on a book, it's not really so much a remake as it is a different version.

Loved the Pryor version. Never had any interested in checking out the prior versions.

I saw that they (forget specifically who) were writing the script back late last year.

They can only make it worse..
