Jeff Hardy using the Stone Cold Stunner?
So I was selling a TV to a customer at work yesterday and TNA was on. I'm pretty sure Jeff Hardy hit a stunner on who ever he was wrestling. I don't really watch TNA so I'm not sure who he was wrestling.
Anyway, did anyone else see this? Or was I just seeing things? |
So I just went hunting and found a video. Apparently it was Robert Roode he was up against. He hits it around the 7:40 mark, and Taz even calls it. So has he been using it long, or was this a once off?

Excellent sell by Roode. The move itself though looked like it may have just been a "good positioning" deal.
I've seen him botch the Twist of Fate where it winds up being a Stunner but I've never seen him do a Stunner so blatantly.
He just half-asses everything, doesn't he?
Also, I suddenly want Skittles.
I had Chocolate Skittles the other day.
Not good. |
shittles, taste the asshole
Jeff's selling is usually pretty good/unique but he practically no-sold that fireball
im sure stone cold has used the swanton bomb once or twice
So they've gone back to a normal ring?
Yes.
It looks like he started to do the Twist of Fate at the beginning of the reversal, and either turned the wrong way or Roode was confused. The whole spot looked sorta awkward for a moment there before Jeff sorta went "Aw, fuck it" and hit the stunner. The Twist of Fate isn't like, copyrighted or some shit, is it? Lol.
Roode did sell that like it fucking killed him, though. |
He really does look like some variety of transvestite with that hair/earrings/paint combo
