So, is the big TNA announcement that they're moving back to Thursdays? What do you guys think?

More likely the induction of Luger into their roster. Anyway let's see..

As noted earlier, TNA President Dixie Carter announced the following on her Facebook this afternoon:
TNA will make a major announcement during tonights TNA iMPACT! on Spike TV at 8ET/7CT. We strive to deliver what our fans want, and the next step in the evolution of the TNA brand will do just that.

Hulk Hogan is eating his hat with a pinch of salt, brother!

Can't say I'm really surprised.

Hogan: I bought Nick a new car and a week's supply of tanning spray!

You'd think if you started your promotion with Ken Shamrock as your first champion you could go nowhere but up.

And as our good friend Mr. Brown looks at Dixie, he looks at his rock and says to himself "Charlie, things aren't so bad."

Hogan: ''You know brother, moving to monday nights brother, was a hell of a ride brother. I honestly can't see how they can make moving back to Thursdays, if it happened, sound good.

There's just no way they can do it after all the shit they've flung.

R.C reports that to be the case, and apparently the officials have notified the locker room about the move back to Thursday. Pity we don't have Russo in here actually.

The locker room would hate it. One of the reasons people go to TNA is the ability to work just 2-3 consecutive nights every fortnight.

Yeah, it's pretty much confirmed that they're moving back to Thursdays.

Don't think it'd be moving back to Thursdays, as that is hardly "the next step in the evolution of TNA." Probably live every week or some "name" (No, not Luger) coming in

According to a source at SpikeTV, tonight will be the final live Impact on Mondays. The series will return to Thursday broadcasts at 9 PM next week. TNA talent were told within the last hour personally by President Dixie Carter.

What, already? Why? They should at least try until the summer since WWE has only recently entered into their "down period." Is this TNA's choice or is Spike making them move back?

Although, IMO, this is an overreaction to last week's rating. Look at Impact's rating on taped weeks compared to live weeks, the difference is DRASTIC.

And why would they keep a show on in that timeslot when the REPLAY does better and it's been on a steady decline in the live slot?

But you also have to realize that, save two weeks or so, they've been going lower and lower.

Is it atleast live on Thursday? Not that it should really make a ratings difference, but more like to indicate Spike's confidence in TNA.

Not sure. It would be better if it was, obviously. Or at least on the one week live one week taped schedule.

True, but still, it's not like RAW's ratings have been impressive either. Even they've dropped in recent weeks.

I'm for the move as a means of building the fanbase back up and possibly improving it. But from the outside looking in it makes TNA look incredashitty

TNA better not try this again until they're pulling 2's at least.

I know TNA being successful and starting a real war would be great for wrestling fans, but they are so fucking terrible that all I can do is "lol" at this point. The only reasons to even rarely tune into TNA is to see what Kurt is up to and maybe the odd wank to Velvet Sky.
