Someone owns Benoit's Weight Machine

After he murdered his family he allegedly hung himself from his weight machine. They probably had an estate sail or attempted to throw it away, or even gave it to one of Benoit's living children.

How macabre. I thought I'd share this thought with you guys, dark as it is.

BigDaddyCool 05-05-2010 11:54 AM

Yeah...someone probably does own it.

Nicky Fives 05-05-2010 12:03 PM

very likely indeed..... However, it would be no skin off their back if they weren't a fan of wrestling, or if they just wanted a cheap deal....

Corporate CockSnogger 05-05-2010 12:14 PM

It was melted down and became the most recent incarnation of the ECW title.

VSG 05-05-2010 12:23 PM

I would buy it myself if given a great deal actually

What does liking wrestling or not have to do with owning a bowflex that a guy used to kill himself with after murdering his wife and child?

It's macabre no matter how you slice it

kareru 05-05-2010 02:43 PM

maybe the machine is a domain to the tortured spirit of chris benoit and whomever buys it will get possessed and is forced to kill to quench his silent but violent urges.

and also he will watch people having sex whilst he whacks off in the closet.

Hmmm, did it come around the same time? from the top of my head I'd say yeah, but I got no idea really tbh.

VSG 05-05-2010 04:42 PM

Benoit killed himself June 24, and Teddy long gave the platinum belt to Henry on July 22- Just enough time to smelt down that thing. Oh and more than enough metal left over to make the replica belts too

All 6 of them.

VSG 05-05-2010 04:48 PM

According to Wikipedia the new belt weighed in at 17 lb, so the gym machine would have weighed 17*7 = 119 lb? That's almost as much as Nance weighed but I doubt he could have hung himself off it. I am being sarcastic here btw, HBPunk..

I meant that a non-wrestling fan (now almost 3 years from the incident) will have forgotten the name Chris Benoit and what he did, and thus would buy the 'Bowflex' simply because it was a 'Bowflex' they could get for cheap

Aguakate 05-05-2010 10:22 PM

...what ever happened to the HOUSE? Does anybody live there?

Using the gym machine where Benoit hung himself may be a little weird, but living in the house where all 3 died has to be horrible.

I bet some of Benoit's skin is still on it.

To be fair, there is someone who owns John Wayne Gacy's paintings...

Corporate CockSnogger 05-06-2010 09:55 AM

In all seriousness does shit like that not get put in some sort of evidence vault or something? Or would it be too big? I have no idea about that kind of thing really.

Zeeboe.

Next Big Thing 05-06-2010 10:04 AM

I don't think that evidence is given to the public. That's like auctioning off Hunter S. Thompson's gun. That shits locked away and probably destroyed once the investigation is completed.

Honestly had never heard of the word 'macabre' until this thread.

NoRoolz 05-06-2010 10:23 AM

Macabre is an extreme metal band from the USA. They were formed in 1985 in Chicago, Illinois, and have never had a line-up change. ...

Macabre.

Actually alot of times the property is held for an amount of time, then auctioned off. I once bought a drug dealer's car at a police auction that was seized as evidence. How this proves that most of the time they simply don't care and want the extra revenue? When I cleaned out the car I found an eight ball under the seat.

VSG 05-06-2010 11:02 AM

Lol..

I agree with you for the most part tjmidnight, but murder is a different level I would think... By the way, what became of the eight ball? :shifty:

Yeah so murder is quite a bit worse than dealing drugs, who knows what happened to the bowflex. As far as the eight ball: I sold it. I think... :shifty:
