Been waiting for this for a while. I was a huge fan of Grindhouse.

They need to do a Thanksgiving movie as well. Maybe if this does well, Eli Roth will go ahead and do it.

I'm really looking forward to watching this movie. It looks AWESOME. I love Grindhouse, I love grindhouse films, & I love the cast that's in it, so I truly believe I will love "Machete".

I may skip work the day it comes out, & go see the first showing of it at the Alamo Drafthouse (which is a very grindhouse kind of theater) here in Austin, Texas, where this picture was shot at. I feel a lot of hometown pride about this film. :y:

No but he does some of the same things in the trailer. Like exact. For instance, when he throws the knives downwards through the sunroof of a car.

I think Machete does exist in the same movie universe as Planet Terror and Death Proof, because Cherry Darling is listed in the same credits on Machete's IMDB page.

Just wishful thinking: I would have loved it if they could have gotten Stuntman Mike in there for a cameo.

so the spoof trailer from Grindhouse gets a feature film!? Love Trejo and Rodriguez and it looks to be a From Dusk till Dawn reunion of sorts by the looks of it.. I support this project and will pay money to see this.
