Upcoming TNA Roster Cuts
 

So, the main page has been loaded with rumours that TNA will be releasing a shitload of names in the upcoming month, citing economic reasons...... so who's it gonna be?

My thoughts:

Rhino
Raven
Dr. Stevie
Earl Hebner
Christy Hemme
Hamada
Eric Bischoff's secretary broad
Shark Boy
Brutus Magnus
Kiyoshi

Add in Sarita/Taylor Wilde to your list, I say.

dont think Christy is goin anywhere because Borash isnt backstage anymore...SoCal Val is prolly out as her only use is taking coats and handing out mics

If they can let go of Daniels I'd say anyone is a prime target at this point in time.

I think a lot of the cuts are going to come in the Knockouts division and whatever is left of the X division.

X-Division? WTF is that? Stop making up stuff.

Looking over the roster page I would say any of the following are likely choices to be let go:

Generation Me
Hamada
Homicide
Kiyoshi
Brutus Magnus
ODB
Raven
Rhino
Sarita
Shark Boy
So Cal Val
Tomko
Taylor Wilde

Though with Hogan / Bischoff calling the shots it could just as easily be Styles, Joe and the Machine Guns.

So Cal Val > Christy Hemme

I honestly don't think either of them will go, but if I were TNA and had to choose, I'd get rid of Hemme (as Val is hotter, been in TNA longer and prolly makes less money)

Rhino and Raven are still listed? I haven't seen them on TV since I started watching TNA a few months ago. What the fuck?

I'm a closet Rhino fan. I would kinda like to see him wrestle I had no idea he was with the company. I liked his WWE run for the most part.....what i remember of it anyways.

First off let me say that this cut is probably for the best, seeing as how TNA has a roster that's large enough for two shows. With that said it's kind of hard to imagine who would be cut, as stated already with regards to H/E regime, theirs no telling what direction they'll take. I can assume it would have too be those who haven't gotten any airtime these past couple months (a lot of you have already stated the most likely candidates). But on that subject if I could save one name from the cut it would be Hamada: I thought she had great in-ring ability, I'm really not sure why she isn't on TV at the time.

You're not alone, I'm a fan of Rhino's as well. He was a bruiser in ECW, a decent midcard in the WWE, and I thought he was doing really well in TNA. In fact I wish they had kept up Rhino not liking any of the young wrestlers coming into TNA, I think he got a good crowd reaction from the promos he cut, and it would have connected well with the arrival of Hogan and his need to bring in fresh talent. It's a shame he's not being used at the moment.

I actually am too... But I am not sure if you would like his story lines in TNA... Some were good, but his matches were pretty good... He has just been off the radar for months now... I can't remember if he got injured or what... Last thing I remember he was feuding with the Main Event Mafia...

Yeah Hamada may not be the hottest Knockout, but I think she could seriously take on some of the guys...

I think they would keep Hamada if she wasn't one of the higher paid talents.

TNA needs to cut Kennedy, Hogan, Xpac, Bischoff, Jarrett, Scott Hall (sadly, I love the guy), Kevin Nash, Raven (also sadly, maybe put him on as a color guy or manager), Abyss and Stevie...

Is there a list of the salaries of TNA wrestlers avaliable?

If they really are doing cuts for economic reasons then probably most of the cuts would be the recent signings that came with Hogan or from the middle bracket of the salary list.

Either way TNA would both be able to cut down on the roster to a more manageable level and save money than just cutting low card wrestlers or rarely used but not expensive mid-card wrestlers.

The guy's okay but, I'd take Sharkboy or Christopher Daniels any day over him. I don't know what they're paying him but, I have a feeling it's too much.
