When the John Cena vs. Batista match for tonight was booked, the feeling was that it would be Batista’s last match with the company, at least for a while. Many within WWE feel that even if he leaves (short term or long term), he’ll be back because of several reasons. He’s making a ton of money, he spends money like a rock star, he can’t make that kind of money anywhere else, and he’s 41 (some say older) so he doesn’t have a lot of time left. They could always do a Batista title win for shock value but it’s a long shot. Jack Swagger is expected to go over during his match with The Big Show. It could be a DQ finish so both men look good. Swagger is in for a continued big push. The plan is to keep the Rey Mysterio-CM Punk feud going so the feeling is that Rey Mysterio loses tonight. The end result of the feud is supposed to be CM Punk getting his head shaved and it seems far to early to do that. Of course, it’s WWE so who knows. Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston for the IC title is a big match for both men. Kingston is in line for a big push soon over on SmackDown!. Heel? We’ll see. R-Truth vs. Ted DiBiase – DiBiase is a chosen one like McIntyre, so if the match isn’t good, Truth will probably be the one who gets the blame. Seriously? I'm not sure if partial means completely or what but regardless.. The Wrestling Observer/Ryan Clark... Talk about JIBBERISH... I mean FUCK.. That's worse then the shit that I pull, and I'm a AMATEUR! Give me your job, and I'll take it seriously and show you some ACTUAL Spoilers. You didn't take a clear cut way on any side, and you talked about the feuds going on after this PPV. That's like George Bush saying, Iraq might not have weapons, but I don't like them, so let's kick their ass! Irrelevant! Get your opinion out of the articles.. Leave it for these drama packed forums.. Let's put a real pure blood like Xero or Supreme Olajuwon in there and they could do 10x better reporting. What you call spoilers up there, I call common sense. You'd have to live in a cave or igloo (your preference) to not get that much out of these storylines. Give us a little more, damn. Tyler Killer isn't to my level. He hasn't earned that criticism yet. The young blood has much more to terrorize before I take him under my wing of embarrasment and honor. Even More Late-Breaking WWE Over The Limit News By Ryan Clark on Sunday, May 23rd, 2010 at 7:10 PM EST – As noted earlier, the initial idea for tonight’s John Cena vs. Batista bout was that it would be Batista’s final match with the company, at least for the time being. While nobody has said anything different, a number of his colleagues doubt he will depart his lucrative job for long. Instead of holding a “Loser Leaves Town” match, tonight’s match was stipulated as an “I Quit” duel to leave the door open in case he decides to stay with the company. – Internally, both Ted DiBiase and Drew McIntyre are seen as “chosen ones,” so their respective matches tonight have great importance. Furthermore, both Kofi Kingston and R-Truth have a lot riding on their respective matches as well, so it’s imperative they put on good performances. – Current plans call for Jack Swagger to hold World Heavyweight Championship through at least SummerSlam, so do not expect him to lose tonight. That said, WWE has committed itself to rebuilding Big Show as a main event threat, so the idea of Show getting pinned cleanly also does not appear likely. – Both Edge and Randy are expected to take part in the main event for next month’s Fatal 4 Way pay-per-view, so neither wrestler will be booked to come across as vastly superior in their match tonight. It just donned on me, wasnt Dave Meltzer from the wrestling observer(question mark)
does that mean Clark would have enough credibility to be on shows like TSN(in canada;s) off the record and other tv appearances he has made. |
