If anyone still reads *magazines*
Amazon is having a sale this week until Saturday June 5th at 11:59 PM (PT). You can subscribe to all of these magazines for just $5 each for one year. It is also good for renewals. You just need to make sure you use the SAME exact address that is printed on your current mailing label and they will tack it on to your subscription. If you have the subscription through Amazon already, just visit your Magazine Account center and you can extend your subscription through there.

I used to subscribe to PC Gamer, then their good editors left like Rob Smith and then "The Vede" who was awesome and this stupid chick took over and made the magazine horrible and I cancelled my subscription. Too bad theres no other PC games magazine. It was good to read on the toilet.

Only reason I reupped my Nintendo Power last time was because I got the free Zelda disk.
Was more than worth it, but the magazine isn't really worth my time anymore. Only read GameInformer now. Might reup EGM now that it's back, though. |
It's not the same EGM from before. Only guy I remember is Greg Ford. I think the old crew submits some work from what I seen in the online site but it's not the same. Just a title so far, but I'll watch to see if my favorites return.

LOL yeah, G was on this like a week ago. I ended up buying the OXM sub so I could get the disc of bonus shit.
I was going to get EGM because they TOTALLY TELL IT LIKE IT IS, but it's not the same people, so when they give average reviews they might not be legitimately average reviews. |

I wish there was a PC games magazine in the US, other than PC Gamer. I subscribed to PC gamer for like 10 years or so and cancelled my subscription cause the magazine got absolutely terrible once "The Vede" left and a new editor took over, she was horrible.
