The Zack Ryder thread got me thinking, what about Hawkins? This is a match from around a month ago and I kinda prefer Jackson Andrews to Vance Archer. I think the whole "make an impact" storyline is one of those lets make it up as we go ideas that wont really end very well for either of them.

They may not last as a team but I think Hawkins in the long run will be the more successful one in the duo but they will have to find the right type opponents for to make it work and not get squashed every week.

I like Hawkins/Archer. Granted I'm not a fan of teams that are just thrown together, at least they work well.

Hawkins is second fiddle to Ryder in every way..at least for now. Ryder is flamboyant & slightly better in the ring. I'd say a fair comparison is Haas & Benjamin.


Archer is just sick to watch. I'm usually not big on generic guys but I like his offense and his aggression.

Archer could be used better if he were allowed to hit his 'Indy" moves.... seeing a near 6'7'' guy hit a picture-perfect Moonsault alone would be enough to get him over

Hawkins and Archer remind me of HBK and Diesel when they were paired in line 93/94...this could be a good duo if they use them correctly. seems like wwe is trying to inprove their tag team division a lil bit wit the usos, hart dynasty, dudebusters and now these two...
