NXT Invades FCW
 

The NXT invasion storyline continued at last night's WWE developmental show in Florida. The main event was scheduled to be The Miz and Daniel Bryan vs. Christian and Heath Slater but that didn't happen. The Miz's music played before the match but nobody came out. Christian came out next and talked about what happened on RAW, then called out Heath Slater. Slater talked about how everything was good to start off on NXT but then Christian wouldn't give him the answers so they lost the competition.

Daniel Bryan then ran out and attacked Christian from behind. The Miz came down next and fought off the Rookies with Christian. Miz proposes that they do a Pros vs. Rookies match. Miz cut a babyface promo with Christian and worked the match as a face.

The ending came when Miz and Christian were about to hit their finishers on the Rookies. All of the Season 1 Rookies rushed the ring and beat down Miz and Christian. The Rookies tore down the FCW ring before Bryan kicked Miz in the head and Slater hit the Killswitch on Christian. The Rookies left with the Pros laid out.

Seems alright

I love the idea of Slater using the killswitch. Just adds a little something to the feud.

Common Miz as a face that's a big mistake right there. :nono:

Do you think that they'll televize this?

Doubt it, but good to know the storyline is gonna continue, there's no way they can't continue it. Too many things going on just to 'forget about it' next week.

<font color=goldenrod>I doubt it, but it's not out of the realm of possibility, either. The SD spoilers made it sound like a really short show...so maybe this is going to be shown to eat up time? Who knows. They'll probably just show the entire Raw incident again and maybe save this for later.

Also, a report I read said Danielson was going full-out heel while beating on The Miz "I'm the best in the world!" "I've got til 5!" "You're supposed to be the pro!" etc.

Either way, it's great to see that this is likely a long-term angle.</font>

Don't know how I missed this thread but... I'll say it again...

I hope WWE goes "the extra mile" with this angle and recaps this segment on RAW or Smackdown.

Maybe NXT can spraypaint WWE Headquarters too. :shifty:

If it entertained people at the event (Which was highly talked about in FL), then it did not waste time.

I bet doing that on FCW was a trial run for basically the same thing to happen on RAW.

That's awesome again, even if it is a little weird with The Miz being a face (although it makes perfect sense, what with it trying to be WWE V NXT).

Love the touch with the ref going down fighting too.

That black guy with the bandanna over his face (Tarver?) looks pretty scary again.

<font color=goldenrod>Awesome. Definitely don't see this being televised, but it's a really cool trial run. Definitely are priming them to be a stable with the way they showed unity. Marked out when Slater and Bryan produced the N armbands from their tights and showed them off to the crowd before putting them on.

Also, Darren Young wearing his hair down can only be a good thing. He looked a bit silly on Monday playing serious with that goofy haircut.</font>

That ref they had is a bad ass.

That was awesome, skip totally killed the ref there. Young is also looking more badass with his hair down.

The ref is buff, but it didn't save him from getting MURDERED by Lariat.

I hope Slater keeps using the Killswitch and maybe called it the Unprettier.

Also it sucks that Michael Tarver won't have a chance to fight his pro.

well he could fight him, just not on TV

Carlito still being around would have been interesting, especially since he was the one who told Cena nobody in the back likes him. I guess Tarver could always go after Primo.
