Best Wrestling crowds.
Well what are the best wrestling crowds to wrestle in front of?
1. New York 2. Toronto 3. Chicago 4. Detroit 5. Montreal |
Johannesburg. Bumblebee horns.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
|
Chikara's crowds.
|
Philadelphia
|
I hate Toronto crowds. Booing people from there, cheering Hogan over The Rock? fuck that.
Philadelphia can be pretty cool. Being from the UK, I have to say we have the best crowds |
I'm from the UK and although UK wrestling fans are as good as any other, just wondering why you say they're the best.

I've been to US and UK events, i'd have to say the US fans were more passionate - but the US events were Wrestlemanias so were obviously better events.

NYC def has some of the best fans for the WWE... A crowd not on the list... My Hometown of Charlotte, NC... Charlotte & Greensboro ALWAYS sell out quick and them Rednecks is crazy!
|
seeing as everyone on tpww are wrestlers with lots of experience wrestling of front of several different crowds, i'd have to say the ones that cheer
|
Philly and NY.
I think the UK crowds are dead. Last one I went to was at the NEC and that was back when Austin and the Rock was there. In 99 i think. But lately they seem shit. That's how it comes across on TV anyway. Still love the Cena booing though. |
Philly crowds (at least at the ecw arena) aren't as lively as they used to be. NY by far
|
Chicago is probably the most common I've heard.
|
UNITED STATES
Los Angeles New York City Chicago Philadelphia Atlanta Baltimore Minneapolis Dallas CANADA Vancouver Calgary Winnipeg Toronto Montreal |
Jersey has good crowds as well
|
Jersey, Philly and NYC are pretty much the same crowd. When I say NYC, I mean Jersey, NYC and Long Island. Philly is slightly different, but pretty much the same crowd.

ECW crowds

If we're talking potential single "best" crowds ever:

I'm basically from Chicago, so with some bias I'd say Chicago is up there. But my bias is backed.
I've been to Detroit and Arizona for Wrestlemania, but thats a tourist attraction, so... hard to group the town/area as best fans or not. I've been to LA for Summerslam last year- crowd seemed dead. Personally, I think that was due to Axxess. Yes, it gets the crowd into it outside, but on an 85 degree and sunny day, being out there for hours- and in LA security takes forever, the pat you down and scan you with a metal detector, it really seemed to take a lot out of the crowd. Outside looking in, Candian fans- either Toronto or Montreal, always seem to be hot, and I can never forget the NYC crowd at One Night Stand part 2. |
