Flair/Lethal Promo
Tonight, I witnessed one of the best promos I have seen in a very long time. It involved Jay Lethal and Ric Flair. It came after Flair's announcement that he was making a new faction called "Fortune". The bickering that went on between Lethal and Flair was absolutely classic. Lethal imitating Flair, Flair firing back. If you didn't see it, you should check it out, it is worth a laugh or two. If you did see it, what did you think?
Lethal did a better Flair than Flair did.
that shit was crazy fucking back and forth genius best shit ive seen on tna minus andersons promos
It was cool. Lethal is damn funny
That was an awesome promo. Lethal was on his A-game tonight.
Nature Boy and his Wooo's out of no where, and Lethal wooing back, jumping on their jackets, throwing the elbow drops. It still makes me laugh just thinking about it.
I'm not sure if is was legit or not, but Flair yelling out "wow" a few times made it seem like he broke character.
I didn't even notice that, but could you blame him? Lethal was the best I've seen him.
Lethal has got the backing of Eric Bischoff. It's been said that he is a funny guy, and there's a lot of good-will supporting him. I'd support a big push for Lethal (which is seemingly what he's getting). Is he still doing the Black Machismo thing, though? Because that needs to stop. Have Ric Flair cut a promo on him like he did The Hurricane -- "If you got serious, you could be something, kid." Lethal replies at Victory Road: "Alright, I'll get serious...tonight...against you...surprise." Lethal then gets a clean pin over Flair. Hopefully something resembling an extended squash, because Ric Flair does not need to be in the ring these days.
Lethal hasn't been doing his Machismo thing for quite a while.
Jay Lethal does unbelievable impressions
The woo off was great, and I also believe that on that night Lethal was on his game and out Flair'd Flair one on one.
Wow positive comments about something TNA did!
Gasp................ |
Holy shit, I could have watched that all night.
I think it's Fourtune not fortune.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it, does it make a sound? kinda like TNA.

Seriously cool watching them go back and forth and Flair seemed to be amazed/having fun/infuriated it was awesome.
Jay Lethal has my vote the look in his eyes was pure joy going back and forth with Flair |
Just absolutely amazing
Wow. This is why Flair should be allowed to work for any promotion he wants to, until he croaks in the ring. lol at the frantic back and forth camera shots as they really got into it. Also that elbow drop by Lethal was beautiful.
I was awestruck as I watched it.
For once I laughed at something TNA did, and not because it was retarded.
Lethal talking to Hogan in the back had me wondering if Lethal would start impersonating Hogan next.
If he can do Macho and Flair, he could probably do Hogan. |

Am I the only one who didn't like that? They kept talking over each other and some parts seemed arkward with both of them trying to get their lines in over each other.
Sure it has good bits, but best promo in ages? Meh. |
Yeah, I gotta agree Dave. I'm glad people enjoyed it and all, and I am all for Lethal getting pushed and Flair doing what he wants, but I much more enjoyed Daniel Bryan's worked shoot on NXT.
Was rather enjoyable, the elbow alone made it amazing.
Is this the big thing Dixie was talking about? Getting a positive reaction from the IWC?
I enjoyed this.
