Ric Flair in TNA

With Flair's big announcment to return to the ring (nobody saw that comming ) and creating a "new stable", do you think that Flair helps the company? I enjoyed the banter between Flair and Lethal, and I LOVE the that he said his new stable is no where near as good as the Horsemen in there prime. I think that giving him so much tv time and focusing Kaz, Beer Money, Wolfe on Flair intead of giving them there own time to develop themselves might hurt TNA in the long run. There are all these TNA Web Matches that feature Amazing Red, Homicide and Generation ME but instead of watching that we see a 50+ year old man pelvic thrusting the crowd. Basically, do you think Flair helps or hurts TNA at this point?

Everything TNA does hurts TNA.

Ric Flair.

I think he helps TNA because he is GOD

WWE should have had flair sign a contract that would have said he can never wrestle anywhere ever again after his match with HBK.

The Pope 06-18-2010 01:44 PM

That's retarded, like anyone would sign that contract :nono:

I think if done right, Flair can help Lethal emerge away from that joke of a gimmick he's had for the past few years.

He almost already has... Besides his impressions, his latest matches have been badass... Great wrestler...

Flair is the greatest gift to wrestling.

SaskatchewanChamp 06-18-2010 07:11 PM

I don't believe it will hurt any of them in the long run being beside Flair. Ric, if he still has one thing, it is his mic skills and ability to entertain through words. Beer Money is a great team, with the best entrance music in the biz IMO, but they have a hard time doing the interviews, much like Kaz and Wolfe. Flair is the perfect man to do the talking while the others do the fighting.

Have to disagree about Wolfe having a hard time on the mic. Always thought he came off as confident and entertaining behind the stick.

teamXtremist 06-19-2010 12:02 AM

he can still cut a promo like no other can help put young guys over ala lethal .He just shouldnt be wrestling near as much anyomore

To make that happen they would have to actually give him a retirement fund. Not a bad idea but I don't see it happening. The man needs money and that's why he's in TNA in the first place. Semi-intelligent post for a troll.

I believe this could quite possibly be true, Mr. McNasty.
