CM Punk is greatness in general. I never called the mask coming, but it made PERFECT sense in the storyline against Rey Mysterio. I'm glad they aren't wrestling every week, but I kind of wish we'd get a Rey vs. Punk Mask vs. Mask Match down the line.

It looks goofy, but I'm pretty sure that was the intent, too. I mean, he's wearing it because he lost a hair match, ffs. I seriously doubt the intent was "hey, let's make Punk look badass!"

Yeah, exactly. I'd have liked it if Punk did become more ruthless and emotionless with the mask, though. Even if it was more a response to losing his hair and having something to prove than the magic properties of the actual mask. :shifty:

The hair match and the mask were both his idea. Of course, neither why he wears it nor the intended level of badassery are the point. I just think it's pretty cool.

I was more trying to disclaimer that it wasn't me "hating on Punk."

You may have noticed I have a reputation for not liking the Cookie Monster.

And honestly, I think it looks goofy. But it's what it's intended for, so it's not a bad thing or a point on which I'm trying to slam Punk.

Reminds me of when Punk dressed up as a Mexican musician to attack Chavo in his celebration party.

I miss Chavo's push. Why did he have to go see that TNA show at Wrestlemania Weekend? Ohhhh Chavo! :(
