Wasn't the first TNA match a pre-PPV match that invovled a huge wrestler breaking the ropes?

Yeah the whole concept of TNA was a weekly PPV format. Ran from June 2002 up to mid 2004. There was a period in 2004 where they would have Impact and a weekly PPV in the same week.
