Toy Story 3

On a whim I picked up the game of it today.

If you're looking for a really fun co op game, I'd recommend picking this up. The story is fun, but short. The sandbox mode however, is where the game really shines. You can race your friends, build up your town, and do quests for towns people.

I can see myself getting a lot of enjoyment out of this game, so I thought I'd give people a heads up. :)

Yeah, I've been reading everywhere that this is the best movie game. Should get it in the next few weeks.

BigDaddyCool 06-24-2010 03:02 PM

Maybe.

I literally spent all day playing it with my buddy. The voice acting is superb, it is really great.

*insert cheap "Woody" joke here*

If its the best, that means it's better than Goldeneye. That's a pretty bold statement.

They're two different genres of movie games though.

One is more of a platformer, one is an FPS. I'd say they're each the best of their category in the movie game genre.

Cease and desist with this logic of yours.

You know it to be true!

Whoa hey lets not go that far.

CREDO 06-28-2010 08:21 AM

Downloaded it the other day. will let ya know what i think.

Ermaximus 06-28-2010 08:46 AM

Verbose, I'm loving this game as well. Woody's Round Up is great, but certain aspects of it piss me off. All I've got left are the picture missions for Wheezy and that 1 bitch who hangs out near where the dam used to be. Aside from that, I just have to finish the Picto missions and all the damned races. (Teeny car, stunt track, Bullseye, and the dragon) Some of the gold star missions are going to be a real pain in the ass though. (All capsules!!!)

Verbose Minch 06-28-2010 02:53 PM

The only thing I'm missing now is finding all of the capsules. I have no idea how I'm going to do it though. :(

G 06-28-2010 11:13 PM

an online guide

Verbose Minch 06-29-2010 02:50 AM

It's a lot more complicated than that. It would take forever to find them all going by a guide. God knows how many of those capsules there are, and none of them are named.

I just finished the game last night. There are about 250 capsules you have to find in game and some of them are hidden really well. My advice is to check the stunt track area intensively as a good majority of the hard to find capsules are there. I'll find the list I used and link it and then you just need to match up what you have against the list. Don't forget to keep hitting the button on the candy shop either Verbose. You get a good deal of capsules from there as well.

Hey, thanks bro! :)

Ermaximus 06-29-2010 04:20 PM

Glad to help. As a suggestion for your gold stars, do ALL of the car related ones, (barrel buster, bone orchard, triple flipper, etc.), at the same time. Use the large ramp in the ramp race section that has the blue blocks in the middle and drive towards the ramp and aim for the corners and just "do work" on those spins, flips, and rolls. It's cake once you get used to it.

Verbose Minch 06-29-2010 04:40 PM

The only star I'm missing is the Western Collector one. I've gotten every other one. Those car ones do get pretty easy after a little bit.

Ah good good. Do you know how many capsules you're missing?

Verbose Minch 06-29-2010 05:06 PM

I haven't had time to count them up yet. I'll probably do that today.

Ah ok. I'm willing to bet you're missing the same 4 I was. The Hot Rod Door, Hot Rod Flags, Monsters Inc. Tentacles, and Monsters. Inc door. I honestly had no clue those were even there at first in the Stunt Track. They are hidden really well and unless you know where to look going into it, you'd never find them. Minus the Monsters Inc. door that is. That one is cake to find.

Verbose Minch 06-29-2010 07:05 PM

lolol, the only thing I was missing was the Trapeze Artist hat. All I had to do was roll down a little cliff.
