On TNA tonight Abyss kept saying they are coming they told me to do it. Who do you guys think they are? I'm thinking its the ECW stable.

The guys that are in 1977. Pretty obvious.

How does it matter to him? Does he still not have his "special magic powers"?

For 5 minutes I cared... But then a match between Angle & Desmond happened... And then, a small miracle happened.. I didn't care what so ever...

p.s. 1% curious... but Hogan's involved so it can't be that good... Hence the 1%...

p.p.s. I am still pissed at myself for caring as long as 5 minutes...

It'll probably be that ECW stable. TNA recently did that survey and found that the original ECW still tested well with some fans. But yeah, the ECW guys are just getting older and older. Maybe they could just do what ECW did, and putting forward cutting edge television?

Tenay was hinting at that last night when Dreamer and crew sat down.

That's the thing. They're getting to the stage where they're almost as bad as the old WCW guys who hang around. If they passed the mantle to some younger guys (Abyss is a start) then something like that could run off the creative fumes and not get bogged down by the guys being too old.

Wow, I was way off I thought you were making a reference to the movie Grand Torino when the asian kid is screaming in the basement. I will say this for the "they" angle in TNA, if it isnt people who arent older or everyone who was reciently released by WWE, it could work. The sad part is, thats alot to ask from TNA :nono:

if ether paul-e or james michell is leading abyss that would be a good ecw angle, but it will probly be mick foley. i am just glad the monster abyss is back.

kind of hoping that it's not the ECW guys. it's too much of a rehash. but TNA loves to rehash. Maybe "they" = Kevin Sullivan and his Dungeon of Doom returning to take out Hulkamania after 15 years

If Paul Heyman was signed to TNA as head of creative, then it'd make sense to include him as an on-air personality. Heyman would make a great manager to Abyss and Rhino. I'd like to see him put together a group of monsters.

That'd be funny, especially if people got behind it after all the "all TNA does is rehash old ideas and cash in on names from other franchises" shit.
