There are rumors that Shawn Michaels will take over as a "distant GM" and in a similar role as when he was WWF Commissioner, he will appear sparingly to make it a 'big deal' when the GM makes announcements or is at a show. This is also an attempt to take the place of Vince McMahon who wants to stay off television, but as always, things are constantly changing.

Hell yes. Discuss the return of THE GAME!!!!

That all sounds really, really awesome. I guess it's too much to expect this Nexus angle to keep going and going. It's done its job, and people actually care about the guys involved in NXT.

Juan 06-27-2010 01:53 AM

That's a really detailed rumor.

Mr. Nerfect 06-27-2010 01:56 AM

Yeah, not really true, I'm sure. But I would care if it happened.

jskinnyg 06-27-2010 02:10 AM

Wow, sounds WAY too good to be true... But I did pick him to be the GM in the poll the other day... Timing just seems to be right...

jskinnyg 06-27-2010 02:12 AM

And the whole "NEW HHH LOOK" post I just read.... Stupid... He's shaved before morons...

DAMN iNATOR 06-27-2010 03:40 AM

Hmm...I'd definitely be all for a 3 Stages of Hell match with HHH v. Sheamus at SummerSlam...the rest of the rumor..."meh".

Mr. Nerfect 06-27-2010 07:01 AM

Daniel Bryan or Triple H seem like the best bets. The guys being traded seems to cut this Nexus angle short, especially since they just trademarked the name, but maybe it will lead to them taking over on both sides? Seven guys -- four and three could work.

The Pope 06-27-2010 08:59 AM

Might as well fire them all.

Evil Vito 06-27-2010 09:35 AM

<font color=goldenrod>Way too detailed of a rumor. That being said, I'd love to see it. The only bit I don't really like is dissolving Nexus so early...but NXT2 will be ending around then, perhaps they can recruit new members on both shows and really make it feel like a WWE vs. NXT invasion.

I'd send Michael Tarver over to be the main mouthpiece of the SmackDown group - I'd also bring Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, and Darren Young over. It would make sense for the GM to want to move more guys over to SmackDown - and it would also put the guys on the same show as their WWE Pros. Alternatively, you could make the GM screw over Barrett big time by leaving him alone on Raw and moving everybody else to SmackDown. That would leave Barrett alone with an angry Raw roster (and possibly Danielson). Barrett could get the last laugh as a bunch of the NXT2 guys show up out of nowhere and join up with him.

There are plenty of ways they can go with this. Looking forward to seeing how this pans out.</font>

Triple Naitch 06-27-2010 09:39 AM

I'm looking forward to that if it happens.

I am not convinced about the Wade Barrett part, he has a guaranteed PPV Title shot which I am sure he would take on the WWE Championship since he is pretty guaranteed a Raw contract. They could have him face Sheamus at MitB to lose when Cena interferes and then start a Barrett/Cena feud though, now that is worthy of him being the Nexus leader.

As far as the rest of the group goes, I am sure they will be split up sooner rather than later since their major impact "on-screen" has had its effect (getting the WWE contracts). I would say Otunga, Skip and Slater stay on raw with the latter 2 forming a tag team initially with Gabriel, Young and Tarver traded over to Smackdown. Young can actually form a feud with SES or atleast the mystery partner of SES if he wishes to join and there is only 1 spot left.

About the HHH rumour, unless they have the mystery GM do ridiculous moves the following weeks before MitB I doubt they would expose the identity so soon. Let's see..

Mr. Nerfect 06-27-2010 10:51 AM

I originally intended to move them as you did, Vito, except with Tarver remaining on RAW, but if Young went to SmackDown!, he'd pretty much have to interact with CM Punk. I like Young as a heel. I think those two stay separate.

So Wade Barrett and Darren Young stay on RAW. David Otunga may not be the best worker, and would seem a natural RAW fit, but I think he goes over to the blue brand to be the mouthpiece for Justin Gabriel (who would fit SmackDown!, and can feud with Matt Hardy), and Heath Slater (likewise, but with Christian). I see Tarver and Sheffield as the two "enforcers" of the group, so I don't think it makes sense for them to both stay on RAW. I'd move over Sheffield to SmackDown! to be aligned with Otunga, Gabriel & Slater. That leaves Barrett, Tarver & Young on RAW -- I envision that two of the NXT guys will win the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions and appear on both shows, however. Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater could be a good bet for that.

It'd be interesting if they got some muscle from the new NXT. I'm not the biggest fan of the idea, but Titus O'Neil is not ready enough to be on his own yet. He could make some more fire-power for Barrett. Eli Cottonwood as a big man on SmackDown! would be interesting, too. I could see Husky Harris joining on RAW's side of things.

It'd be interesting to see who they would be traded for, too.

I thought the "huge news" would be Triple H is coming back with an "anteater" gimmick.

Evil Vito 06-27-2010 11:18 AM

<font color=goldenrod>I don't think they'd be traded for anyone, per se. It may just be a "trade for cash" or some shit. The reason I think this way is because once they added all the NXT guys to the Raw roster, I noticed that the Raw roster dwarfs the SmackDown roster as it is. Just moving guys to the blue brand would even things out a bit.

If Danielson comes back as a face, I really hope Kaval joins the Raw side of the Nexus as a heel. I want to see those two guys face off.

Percy Watson is really the only NXT2 guy I couldn't believably see joining the Nexus (not that I want them ALL to join, but I could at least see their kayfabe logic for joining). I mean yeah he could easily shed the glasses and go on about how WWE stuck him with a bullshit gimmick...but he just works SO well in his role, it'd be a waste to have him shed it. Much like Daniel Bryan felt remorse for his actions, I could see Percy Watson being the lone dissenter from his group and being beaten down or something.</font>

N.B. - Not tryin' to hate on Triple Haitch. Just always saw a resemblance.

Mooияakeя™ 06-27-2010 12:06 PM

Disband Nexus... NOoooooo. Not yet, they ain't even started!

Attitude99 06-27-2010 12:31 PM

I Hope For A Evil HHH

Mooияakeя™ 06-27-2010 12:34 PM

As long as there is no reign of terror.

XCaliber 06-27-2010 12:45 PM

Disbanding the Nexus group this early is a mistake right now especially if RAW gets nothing in return I call this whole article bs as I still believe Cole is the anonymous GM.

thedamndest 06-27-2010 03:38 PM

Why would Daniel Bryan not be legally able to face Barrett now? Nothing about why he was fired was mentioned in kayfabe and they could legit bring him back whenever.

Droford 06-27-2010 04:30 PM

Do we get AC/DC "Highway to Hell" and Jesse Ventura for Summerslam again?

also, wonder what the 3 stages of hell will be? Its been Regular/Street Fight/Cage (HHH/Austin), Street Fight/Cage/Ladder (HHH/HBK) and Regular/Falls Anywhere/Stretcher (HHH/Orton)

Jeritron 06-27-2010 04:43 PM

3 stages of heck

Savio 06-27-2010 05:57 PM

dissolving nexus would be stupid.

The Pope 06-27-2010 06:14 PM

The PG thing is dumb, They want more little kids watching so they go like dumbasses to jump off the roof as opposed to having a tv-14 rated show which older audiences already know that Jumping off a roof is just dumb.

XL 06-27-2010 08:02 PM

I noticed on Raw that one of the sponsers was Just For Men. How many kids need to cover their grey hair!?
