Dark Match at Raw Last Night

so i was at Raw last night and the show was kinda lame...only Orton and Cena got decent reactions from the crowd. But the dark match and segment after it were amazing and its how the show should have ended. It was Cena vs. Sheamus for the title...at the end Cena had the stfu locked on and Sheamus actually mocked Cena by doing the "You cant see me" motion and refusing to tap. Then Nexus came down and attacked Cena and Sheamus bailed. Bourne and Morrison came down to help but got beat down. Then Orton's music hit, he came out and stood on the ramp staring down Nexus who all turned to look at Orton ready to attack him. The the entire Raw rsoter minus Jericho and Edge lined up behind Orton, Orton then pointed to the ring and the roster ran down and cleared out Nexus and chased them to the back leaving Orton and Cena in the ring, who did their respective poses to send the crowd home happy. It was an excellent segment that I wish could have aired, but if it did the only people not suspended or fired would be the Divas, Wade Barrett, Sheamus, Edge, Jericho and Orton as Orton never actually attacked one of the Nexus!

holy blob of text

Yeah, fuck trying to read that.

Supreme Olajuwon 06-29-2010 02:20 AM

That would've been a pretty rockin' ending, legendkillerRKO!

Jeritron 06-29-2010 02:26 AM

I'm sure they would have loved to do that ending but didn't because if they did they would have had to honor the stipulation of firing/suspsending the entire roster. Tough break.

This new GM is playing some real hardball.

OK, how did Jayman get LJ's password? :shifty:

that is not a blob of text. That is 1 paragraph. You need to spend more time around Kalyx.

Skippord 06-29-2010 03:36 AM

or more time reading

Seriously, though. I feel like I'd be alright with Trips being revealed as the supposedly "anyonymous" GM, just not with the whole "I was the ringleader of everything the 'Nexus' guys did too" idea, but...maybe they could cook up some sort of scenario where Orton is in on the gig too, having been recruited by Trips as a co-conspirator, who remembered Randy's early days before they joined forces in Evolution when he was the Legend Killer.

Orton could claim responsibility for the 'Nexus' 7 (or 6 last night) run-in and attack of Dragon, King, Hayes, AA, and Rotundo. Then maybe they could send several of these 'Nexus' guys over to SmackDown! and have HHH and Orton head some cleverly named new stable with however many 'Nexus' guys are left.

I expect all of this to come to a head at Money In The Bank, which will be hosted by the blast area BW3. Be there or be square

I wouldn't miss it for the World (the real World that is, not former WWF/E bar The World in New York, NY). I'll be very interested to see how what takes place that night affects things as we then begin the 5-week "Road To SummerFestaMania" (yeah, I made that up, what of it?)

Why do you do that?

Evil Vito 06-29-2010 08:29 AM

That's the exact same way the show ended last week. Kinda weird how Sheamus always manages to dodge the attack.

Volare 06-29-2010 08:33 AM

He's the leader of the soon to be "Irish Nexus."

FELLA!

Savio 06-29-2010 12:27 PM

The GM should still honor it and fire everyone.

DrCrawford 06-29-2010 12:51 PM

i was there at raw last night too and i agree the dark match was great

i was waiting for the NXT2 rookies to come out to help when the nexus were beating the legends, especially husky. and i wanted to see percy!

and since the nexus couldnt attack the superstars, i think it wouldve been great if they came down during the main event and circled the ring to buildup tension and then went in and attacked the ref or something
