I don't get how it's Cena's fault at all. They lost a lawsuit I believe over the name/initials to the World Wildlife Fund which is why they changed to WWE.

The change was made effective the night after the UK PPV Insurrextion in 2002, on RAW, which was early May. Cena didn't even debut with WWF/E until June, so whether you're serious or not (and I get that you're not) there's no way the name change could ever be blamed on him in whole or in part even.

I mean he had matches with Angle and Jericho, but until he turned on Kidman and started the rapper gimmick he really didn't stand out.
