What do you think of the mask-less Dos Caras Jr?

Did he debut?

The promos are interesting enough. Not really sure what they're trying to do with him, but it seems better than Kizarny.

The second one was really well done. It was pretty long, but he still managed to deliver all his lines perfectly. Looks like a hard-worker, and that's always good.

After the first promo I was all of a sudden reminded of Salvadore Sincere.

I still dont know how "honesty" and "inspiration" can be a gimmick.

He's just missing some "arrogance"

I'd be willing to put money on it that he hooks up with Vickie Guerrero to get him instantly over like they tried to do with Eric Escobar.... bank on it.....

But they already have Dolphin hooking up with her apparently.

Dos Caras Jr was one of the best wrestlers in Mexico, hopefully they play that up upon his debut.

WWE will fuck his debut up.

I think it's a disgrace that WWE forced Dos Caras, Jr. to take off his mask.

him wrestling some dude in a non-wwe ring is not going to help me decide if I like him or not. Same for Kaval.

I actually really like it, and I think that the gimmick (from the little I've seen) has some legs to it. I've never seen him wrestle, but I think he's gonna have a shot.

He's been working dark matches for months now, and the last two guys who were consistently in dark matches pre-roster (Sheamus, Drew McIntyre) did just fine.

I was actually waiting for him to say that they cheat on their taxes. :shifty:

Wonder if this guy will ever have a Honest Man Vs. Truth match with R-Truth.

I will wait to see him in a ring. He's apparently a good talent. He's got a tremendous look to him. There's nothing offensive about his gimmick so far. He is a "man of quality," and that is meant to get him heel heat, I guess. I just haven't been hooked in yet. I'd like more of a "story" about this guy. Maybe that he is a trained MMA, and comes from one of the most celebrated wrestling families in Mexico. His dark match gimmick apparently got him wild heat.

Yeah, I've decided I like the guy in the ring.

If he's the only real honest man, why does he keep claiming his name is Alberto Del Rio? :)
Anyway, I'm eager to see him competing in the WWE (especially against Rey Mysterio). It's kind of cool that he's got luchadore blood in him, being the son of Dos Caras and nephew of Mil Mascaras, but that (unlike most luchadores) he's strictly a technical wrestler with training in Greco-Roman wrestling.

The mask is a one-way street in Mexico. If it comes off, it doesn't go back on. That pisses off their audience a great deal. A week or so after he lost the mask at the PPV, he lost a mask vs. mask match in Tijuana, IIRC. The fans more or less shit on him for wearing the mask for that match.

I've often bitched about him wearing the mask again, long before it became hip to hate Misterio.

I am not sold on him with his promos yet. However, there were very few I have been sold on after the opening promos. The only ones that worked for me were Cryme Tyme.

Didn't even realize that was him. He's solid on the mic. Looking forward to seeing him wrestle.
