Ideas For Smackdown
 

There's news going around that something BIG will be happening at the "Smackdown" tapings tonight. So, what would you think it is or what would you like for it to be?

The news going around is from R.C and so forgive me if I take it with a pinch of guacamole (salt ain't enough apparently).

In any case, Drew Mcintyre returns to claim the 7th spot for MitB and the 8th spot will be revealed in an over the top rope battle royal, won by either a Nexus member or Alberto del Rio. That is what I would like it to be.

McCool starts having orgasms on-air and it's revealed that Taker is controlling her with his mind.

But knowing WWE, it has probably to do with the Kane-Taker storyline.

Jack Swagger starts the Jack Swagger Invitational and fights some local talent in squash matches.

I'm hoping it'll be something other than the return of Drew Makes Me Tired lol

Shad Gaspard makes his long awaited return and defeats Chavo Guerrero in under three minutes.

I have it on good authority that Cryme Tyme will be reuniting for one night only, to cash in their tag title shot they earned in 2007

Almost positive that it's gonna be the annpuncement that Smackdown is moving to SyFy

Bring the old set back and the old logo to make it feel "seperate". Good times.

Starts tonight with The Prototype.

You know, that reminds me, I don't understand why it's so hard to make SD! equal to RAW in terms of ratings. Most likely due to it being on Friday Nights. But I think the other factor is because it's taped. The majority of the fans just go and read the spoilers, and if they read something good about a segment they'll go check it out just for that segment and not the entire show. Then they switch to a different channel.

To prevent this, SD! should go live and give the viewers that same atmosphere/energy we get from watching RAW live. There is something different when you watch a live show and a taped show.

In terms of the quality of the shows, SD! has more wrestling than drama/backstage segments. RAW is more focused on the backstage elements of the show and furthering the storyline whereas SD! furthers the storyline with "wrestling". This is just what I think of it.

If SD! was tailored to the same audience that RAW brings in, would there be an improvement in ratings? I don't know.

But anyways, I think SD! should go live. It would certainly make me want to watch it just due to the fact that it's live. Taped shows are heavily edited and I don't like that so much.
