People told me to watch this, but I don't know. I feel like those geeks are the less credible geeks. Am I right?

Some guy told me it is getting better during the season 2. Is he right?


I do not know. I am kind of turned of by this tv show.

the one geek is banging the hot blonde on the show. It's total bullshit. It's kinda annoying.

First time I saw it I thought it was stupid and ridiculous. Then later one day I watched an entire episode and I thought it was pretty funny and downloaded the entire 2 seasons. I watched those 2 seasons multiple times over and enjoyed them very much but I don't have the same feeling when I watch the 3rd season. I don't know why but maybe the novelty is wearing off for me.

Seems like a dime a dozen cheezy sitcom to me. Watch Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia instead.

I love it, and yes it is better with season 2.

Frankly I saw the originally planned pilot sometime in May and knowing they didn't follow that trend deserves some props.

It is probably the best "mindless studio-style sitcom" on TV now.

Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory are the only good "true" sitcoms left. Everything else is shit.

It definetly is. Great show.

Show is hilarious. Nerd humor from start to finish, and it is absolutely fantastic. Dunno how anyone could not like this show unless they have no ounce of nerd in them whatsoever.

Also, not at all Fignuts. 'dime a dozen cheezy sitcom' my ass. Show is easily one of the best sitcoms in the past 5-10 years.

Show is garbage. Guys don't even come across as nerds. They just come across as homos. Terrible shit.

What? I guess you must not 'get' a lot of the humor then, because it is quite nerdy and I have no problem admitting that I am quite nerdy enough to get a lot of it.

I'm not even nerdy, don't watch cartoons, or read comics, or watch Star Trek and I find this show hilarious.

^Yeah. The show makes fun of itself quite frequently too, which is one reason I love it. Hell, even the 2 that come across as having gay tendencies (Rahj specifically), they purposely make fun of and point that fact out constantly in the show.

I hate Two and a Half Men, even though its by the same guy (I think).

I have seen about 4 episodes. But I'd rather watch Top Gear.

Also, 2 and a half men is brilliant.

Also, I suppose a lot of the humor in Big Bang Theory is a lot (not all) of American pop culture humor, regardless of how nerdy it is. So that could be why you don't enjoy it as much.

I don't know what the allure of Two and a Half Men is to old people but I also know several old people who say it is their favorite show.

It is somewhat 'risque' humor without being vulgar. To old people at least. That is why my grandma likes it I am pretty sure.

I think there must be a lot of blow job jokes that fly under the old peoples' radar. Some of that slang they can't possibly know.

Can't stand Two and a Half Men. My girlfriend likes it though.
I enjoy The Big Bang Theory but it wouldn't make my Top 10 shows (maybe even Top 20). And now my girlfriend has got into it so it's cool that we can watch it together.

I think CBS generally pulls in the most of the older demographic.

Honestly cannot watch the standard 3-camera sitcom anymore.

Its better than your average sitcom, I do hate multicamera comedies of today.

Saw a Bazinga shirt at Hot Topic yesterday.

I watched all episodes over a few days and I can say this is the main reason to watch.

I got a really weird Sam and Diane feeling watching Penny and Leonard too. A celebrity guest star coming and breaking them up (Christopher Lloyd -> Whil Wheaton.) Also the amount of times they seem to be going out and then not.
