Favourite Disney Animation

We've all seen them as kids, and some of us probably still watch them, so what is your favourite Disney animation film?

I'm going with Lion King, followed by Aladdin.

Note: it's films from Walt Disney Animated Classics

Jeritron 07-20-2010 03:32 PM

Probably going to be a ton of Lion King and Aladdin based on the age range here.

For me, Lion King and Aladdin.

Does Pixar count?

Xero 07-20-2010 03:35 PM

Aladdin, assuming Pixar doesn't count.

DaveWadding 07-20-2010 03:37 PM

Pinocchio.

IC Champion 07-20-2010 03:39 PM

No, Pixar doesn't count, I was going to put that too. I mean the traditional Disney Animation.

IC Champion 07-20-2010 03:42 PM

Otherwise it would be all Toy Story I'm guessing.

Xero 07-20-2010 03:43 PM

90%, yeah.

IC Champion 07-20-2010 03:45 PM

I will allow stop-motion films, such as Nightmare Before Christmas, cause well it was awesome.

Jeritron 07-20-2010 03:55 PM

Nightmare Before Christmas doesn't even carry the Disney name on it because they were afraid it wouldn't be kosher with their family audience. It was released through Touchstone.
They only embraced it after the fact. If Nightmare Before Christmas counts as a Disney movie so does the Scream trilogy.

Innovator 07-20-2010 03:55 PM

Lion King

Jeritron 07-20-2010 03:58 PM

I've actually been meaning to get Aladdin and Lion King on dvd. I haven't seen either of them in years

Fine, it doesn't count. Stickler.

Jeritron 07-20-2010 04:04 PM

If it was counted I would have felt dirty for not counting Toy Story

IC Champion 07-20-2010 04:10 PM

Yeah, I understand the reasoning and logic. Makes sense. I mean to watch it every year at chistmas and forget.

Jeritron 07-20-2010 04:12 PM

I always wonder if it's better to watch on Christmas or around Halloween. I have it on dvd and haven't watched it in years

Dark-Slicer Diago 07-20-2010 04:15 PM

Lion King and Aladdin

IC Champion 07-20-2010 04:16 PM

My sister used to LOVE Disney movies so I've seen everyone atleast 100 times. Haven't seen alot in years too. Watched Aladdin and the Lion King couples days ago, so I figured I'd make a thread.

Juan 07-20-2010 04:23 PM

The Jungle Book and Robin Hood

IC Champion 07-20-2010 04:25 PM

Just downloaded Jungle Book.

thedamndest 07-20-2010 04:27 PM

Aladdin. Emperor's New Groove is pretty funny too.

Finding Nemo> Toy Story.

Not that Toy Story was bad, just....Nemo was better. I know I'm in the minority, but...

Robin Hood's always been one of my favourites. Ermaximus put up another one, the Great Mouse Detective, though I actually think my favourite has to be The Sword in the Stone.

New Groove is a damn good one, too. Not sure it will ever have classic status to me, but still.

Or song of the south. Just because I'm a racist.

Aladdin, Lion King, Robin Hood.

I don't see the reason why no Pixar on the list though.

weather vane 07-20-2010 10:12 PM

Lion King
Alladin
Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Alice in Wonderland

boom

Triple Naitch 07-20-2010 10:19 PM

Always loved Mickey's Christmas Carol.

dronepool 07-20-2010 10:24 PM

I'm not sure if I seen more than 1 or 2 Pixar films honestly, some of them look good but I have no ambition to really watch them on my own unless it's on tv and I happen to be looking for something to watch. And personally never cared for Toy Story. Just not interested in it to be honest.

As for Disney animation I'll say Alice In Wonderland. Then Lion King and Aladdin- even though I haven't seen them in a very long time.

Because while they are Disney, they arent part of the Walt Disney Animation Studios.

El Fangel 07-20-2010 11:21 PM

Aladdin/Lion King/Robin Hood
