The Triple H Appreciation Thread - Anticipated Return 2010 Edition

http://images.starpulse.com/Photos/pv/Triple%20H-1.jpg

As we all anticipate the return of Triple H, and possibly in this massive NeXuS angle, let us reflect and look back on the career and our favorite memories/matches/etc of Triple H.

HHH vs. Wade. Match I want to see. Bye.

HHH v The Rock was the best

Ermaximus 07-21-2010 09:19 AM

HHH will be the man to beat NeXus. Whether it is from the inside or the outside remains to be seen, but he'll be the one to take them down, not Cena.

Schlomey 07-21-2010 09:30 AM

HHH is one of my all time favorite wrestlers. I get bored with him from time to time but I am currently missing him on my television.

HHH is a chameleon. He can go from heel to face quicker and better than anyone in the history of the business. He can play whatever part the WWE needs and at the flick of a tongue has the crowd eating it out of his hand. It takes a rare fella to be able to do a turn with such ease.

here are a couple vids:

That's also a favorite moment of mine. The sick and visicious Triple H.

Mr. Nerfect 07-22-2010 06:22 AM

I'm not the biggest Triple H fan in the world -- but I am looking forward to that moment when his theme music hits, and he walks down to the ring as the arena is going crazy. After that, I probably won't care as much, as RAW bores me, but that moment will be great.

Eventually, I'd be interested in seeing Triple H turn heel, too. It's been about four years since we've seen Hunter Hearst Helmsley as a bad guy. Can we please bring him back?

Triple H and Shawn Michaels had one of the greatest and most pure rivalries in the history of WWE and all of professional wrestling. Truly, a feud that gave us all memories that will never die and bring tears to our eyes. All hail these 2 great performers for giving us a series of matches and promos that exceeded any and all expectations and truly set themselves apart in the annals of wrestling immortality for their performances in this epic clash of the titans from July 2002 until June 2004.

Jeritron 09-30-2010 01:26 AM

Triple H will captain Team WWE at Survivor Series against Nexus and their reluctant new member John Cena.
Cena will be very moapy and emo about having to hang out with the bad guys, but he will talk about how he is a man of his word and how he can't give up even if he doesn't believe in what side he's stuck on.
Then he'll "do the right thing" in the 11th hour.

This will lead to Triple H and Cena standing tall over Barrett and the disbanded Nexus.

Maybe Barrett and Triple H will feud over the winter

I am not the biggest fan, but I appreciate the hell out of Triple H.

I have to admit I am tired of his face run. One has to think his next run may very well be his last, and Triple H is far more entertaining as a heel. I'd also love to see him continue to dabble in the upper mid card, away from the title.

He pretty much made Sheamus, and their match at Mania put Sheamus over without H actually doing the job. I think that's where he could most valuable.

The Official Countdown to Triple H's Return Thread

Post here and talk about how you want to see Triple H booked upon his return and how you would book his return. Also, use this thread to appreciate Triple H in general.

Don't be a faker.

Quote:

As mentioned prior to the TNA Final Resolution PPV, there were forces within the company pushing for TNA champion Jeff Hardy to be sent home from the company and to be stripped of the TNA championship after concern was voiced over Jeff Hardy's condition upon arrival at the PPV.

After Hardy met with TNA officials, the decision was made to let Hardy work the show. In speaking to multiple sources after the show, I was told that Hardy claimed his condition was not due to any personal issues but exhaustion from his recent TNA schedule.

From what we have been able to piece together, Hardy flew from the Middle East where he had worked the trio of TNA house shows in the U.A.E. this past Wednesday (a 20 hour flight). After landing in Atlanta, Hardy then flew on to North Carolina. I was told Hardy was home just one day (and, as one wrestler pointed out to me, that one day was likely dominated by Hardy's newborn baby) before flying to Michigan to make a personal appearance at a Monster Truck event in Detroit with Jesse Neal and Shannon Moore yesterday.

Someone who was in attendance at the event last night noted that Hardy looked exhausted and spoke of how hard his schedule was the last few weeks, as he had been on the road since the day after Thanksgiving. The same person also told me that Hardy was spotted returning to his room fairly early last night. Hardy then flew from Michigan to Orlando earlier Sunday to the TNA PPV.

When the decision was made to change plans, word spread like wildfire that Hardy was being sent home due to his condition. However, once Hardy explained his position, management backed off of alternative plans and agreed to let him work the show. One person I spoke to just as the PPV kicked off remarked, "False alarm."

Had Hardy been sent home, the plan would have been for Eric Bischoff to announce Hardy was injured on the Middle East tour. The match that would have replaced the main event would have been Matt Morgan vs. Ken Anderson vs. Jeff Jarrett. Since Samoa Joe's contract had expired, he would have been held off the PPV. There's no word on who would have ended up with the championship, but my gut is that Matt Morgan would have ended up with the belt.

As I write this, Hardy is scheduled for all of this week's planned Impact tapings.

CSL 12-06-2010 07:43 AM

No way any kind of story like that breaks that fast, not to mention how ridiculous it sounds.

CSL 12-06-2010 07:44 AM

Or what Hasney said.

If you'd have left it until say just after RAW or something, you probably could have roped some of the mongs in hook, line and sinker.

James Steele 12-06-2010 07:48 AM

Well, you done ruined it now.

#BROKEN Hasney 12-06-2010 07:51 AM

I want to see Triple H get arrested then flee the country to avoid legal action. Then have Steph not cooperate with the police so she's in trouble to and I want all this to break within 30 seconds.

I hope he goes back to 1, 2... Is this on?

Obvz won't happen. BUT STILL.

HHH is the surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble.
He takes Sheamus out with an over the top close line that eliminates both men.
They brawl outside the ring for a little bit during the Rumble match.
HHH challenges Sheamus to a match at Wrestlemania.
A King vs. King, last man standing match so they can beat the shit out of each other and usher the WWE out of the PG era.
