Games that didn't get the best reviews, but are awesome.
 

Looking to play some games that never got the praise they deserved. Looking for 360 games, but feel free to name games from any console.

Crackdown wasnt reviewed highly, but is an amazingly addictive game.

Deadly Premonition

The reverse of this I would have to say is backyard wrestling. Hated that game but it got great reviews.

Doesn't get above a 65 other than Playboy. I was sure the game was slated, but yeah it is shit.

Lost Odyssey is another good one. The Metacritic aggregate score is actually pretty good (78), but that is low for the game itself because the review version was rushed out and substantially inferior to the finished product. Let me tell you how good this game is: my mom HATES videogames with a passion. She cried when she watched me play this because she loved the story so much.

EGM the magazine rated it 7.5 and 8, I didn't really check other ratings

EGM gave it a 5.7 apparantly.

nah I vividly remember being pissed @ the magazine because they rated it highly after I already played it and knew it was bad.

5.7 equates to a C+ in EGM BTW (5 being average)

Quoted the wrong post there. Meant Deadly Premonition, not Backyard Wrestling. The idea of a game that promotes yard tarding is awful.

Naughty Bear, reviews said it didn't live up to the pre-release hype (which it didn't to be honest) but still having a hoot with it.

I don't remember it get awful reviews. The worst I remember was one of Obsidian's employee's saying it sucked.

I liked playing the Lost game, but I'm not sure how that was rated.
