Campcom-Unity. Ohhhh...I get it.
My observation dictates that the only people getting this is Has, RoXy, Khuntry, Funky, and myself.
Your observation is wrong.
Yep. Instant buy.
God damn son. Since they're developing it, and not just porting it, can we hope for more tweaks?
I'll be getting it. Never played it so it's a totally new game to me.
I was pissing about with it the day before it was announced, trying my arcade stick with MAME. Fucking 60 minute intallation time was well worth it though.
They probably won't but I'd love it if they HD'd it, or at the very least, do the widescreen trick they did on MvC2 |
not working
I don't see it either.
Ah fuck, it was a peak at the title screen of the game. Blurry, though.
YES
Not news but another art contest by Capcom.
Crap, this means I need to sell my Dreamcast copy of the game before they roll it out and make the disc worthless.
Didn't think it was worth much anyway. Replaced my scratched copy for £1 before this was announced and they had a ton remaining.
Bump made me hope for news :'(
There will not be a rebalance. It will have updated graphics (sprites or filter, Ono didn't say) and a host of online elements.
I don't know... Seems like a big fuss over what is essentially an HD port. It better have kick-ass 'online features'. I was hoping for some form of tweaked gameplay. Ah well. |
Wouldn't a rebalance and new features make it 4th Attack or whatever they'd call it?
I will probably be on this similar to the manner of Donkey Kong

I should go fire up my PS2 and give it a whirl.
Graphical filters at work?
Looking forward to the trailer we'll most likely get at E3. Never played SFIII so this is an "all new" game to me. Looking forward to it.
So, as far as E3 goes, the Capcom Japanese blog posted this:
Quote:
If you read it as a maths problem (10100 minus 1000 minus 1001 etc) it totals -2011. So some people think that means we'll get SFIII this year, sometime. |
I could see a holiday release.
That sounds likely.
Another conclusion some people are coming to is something to do with Twelve because he's the only character in Street Fighter that talks in binary. Isn't he from SFIII anyway? |
Yeah, he's from SFIII. One of the more quirky characters of the series, he would be great through an HD filter. 3s is still one of the best animated sprites around.
I had a hard time beating Gill the final boss.. His healing powers everytime he gets KOed is like a computer just lagged and restarted the match itself. :P
Here we go. Hot damn:

I like what I see. A lot of variation in styles by the looks of it.
Yeah it's pretty cool. It has universal parry, overhead, most supers are double motion, it streamlined a lot of mechanics so you can focus on fighting. Elitist pretend that wasn't what made it so hardcore in the end. Honestly SF4 is more hardcore than 3s in execution requirement, but 3s lends itself to great battles.
Never thought I'd say something like this but if the soundtrack changed I'm skipping this.
I totally thought you'd say something like that.
