Rock Bottom 04-18-2004 09:41 PM

It's a sad day when a RAW thread tomorrow night will have way more views than a PPV thread with names like Benoit/Michaels/HHH...

KingofOldSchool 04-18-2004 09:42 PM

LOL The Coach defeated Tajiri.

Hahahahha.

AareDub 04-18-2004 09:42 PM

The really sad thing is that the WWE will probably credit the low buyrate to Benoit being champ.

OssMan 04-18-2004 09:45 PM

OOH I told you Coach would beat Tajiri by interference.

AareDub 04-18-2004 09:47 PM

Yea, I thought it was pretty obvious that Coach was gonna win.

tipster points++

Savio 04-18-2004 10:09 PM

What match is on now?

Dark-Slicer Diago 04-18-2004 10:09 PM

Chris Jericho beat Trish and Christian

Funky Fly 04-18-2004 10:29 PM

Man, Vince must hate Japanese people. They're all jobbers in the WWE. :'(

Rock Bottom 04-18-2004 10:34 PM

He doesn't seem to hate Jim Ross.

Rock Bottom 04-18-2004 10:40 PM

Oh, he's squinting all the time, my bad.

ItsTimeForAChange 04-18-2004 10:42 PM

I was really impressed and surprised by Ortons performance in his match with Mick. I have more respect for him.

Mikey 04-18-2004 10:46 PM

Tonight Orton and Foley became wrestling gods

AareDub 04-18-2004 10:47 PM

Based on the pbp the Orton/Foley match sounded damn good.

LOL

Cactus Sid 04-18-2004 10:48 PM

All I can say is wow

I was really worried throughout that whole match that Foley was gonna taken a really stupid bump, and yes, ok, there was A LOT of garbage wrestling, but the tension and psychology of that match was amazing, things went in the right place, and Orton comes out of it ready for the Main Event, Foley made him look like a true Main Event player tonight, and I tell ya something, Orton in the Thumbtacks? You could see it coming in the match, but I never thought he'd do someting like that, props to him.

Also, can I just say this about Ric Flair..... Foley can't go 60 minutes with Guerrero, Angle or Benoit??? He was blown up after 6 minutes with Shelton Benjamin, and Foley definetly looked more in-shape in his match than I've seen him in years, so I hope that gives a big fu</>ck you to Flair.

Rock Bottom 04-18-2004 10:48 PM

 at that match... I was just reading it. That's sick. I had no idea that Orton would take a tack-bump like that (he wrestles bare-backed). Wow, that's awesome. :y:

Foley became a wrestling god a LONG time ago you nimrod.

But yes - Orton did further establish himself tonight. Great JOB by Foley.

AareDub 04-18-2004 10:49 PM

credit 4w-wrestling.com for this, but for those who aren't watching check out orton's back.

Got a pic of Mick's arm after the barbed wire bed bump?

Flair is over 50 years old you ignorant dipsh</>it. I'd like to see you wrestle for 6 minutes or more at that age.

Cactus Sid 04-18-2004 10:52 PM

I'm just suggesting that Flair should be less ignorant himself

that's the best one they have of it. Again, credit 4w-wrestling.com

Rock Bottom 04-18-2004 10:53 PM

Holy shit, this is like the third time I have had this Deja Vu. Someone arguing about Flair being 50 years old, with a "Feuds you would like to see" thread right under this one. On a night with Orton vs. Foley. Wow... I am serious.

Evil Vito 04-18-2004 10:55 PM

Royal Rumble: The Royal Rumble Match
No Way Out: Brock/Eddie
Wrestlemania: Eddie/Angle and Benoit/HHH/HBK

And now Backlash gives us Foley/Orton and possibly the triple threat match

4 PPVs in a row with MOTYC = :y:

Cactus Sid 04-18-2004 10:55 PM

The should have played up the box in the corner

Loose Cannon 04-18-2004 10:55 PM

OMG, I just got back from a school project thing and I'm hearing about the Orton match and seeing these awesome pics. Someone get me a fk'n towel.

In case you didn't hear about the finish, Orton landed two RKO's. One by reversing a socko attempt and the other landed on the barbed wire or something. Figured you'd need a towel after those.
