Wheel of Time
 

So I have the first 8 or 9 books and I am about to begin a journey of make-believe.

Anyone love the series? Hate it? Meh it?

Read the first book and was enjoying it alright, up until the last part of it, when shit just seemed to happen out of nowhere and made very little sense. I 'get' that he was tapping into magic and all that, but it came so out of the blue that I felt like it was just thrown together.

Maybe I should read it again or something, but I just couldn't get into it at that point and felt like the whole book was good until the end.

I do like fantasy books though. My suggestions consist of Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series, and Elizabeth Haydon's Symphony of Ages series.
