Dinner for Shmucks

Saw this last night, was HILARIOUS.

just thought I'd share that.

Savio 08-01-2010 01:31 PM

was it really?

Mike Honcho 08-01-2010 02:17 PM

Yeah, honestly, I didn't think it was going to be that good. But, I seriously Laughed Out Loud pretty much throughout the whole movie. Probably the funniest I have ever seen Steve Carell. I recommend it for a good laugh.

Schlomey 08-01-2010 08:49 PM

Hello Mike Honcho. Instead of making uninspired threads about movies you JUST saw there is a thread where you can talk about and even rate the movies you have just seen for the first time. Stickied at the top of the movie forum. Thanks.

muffalufagus 08-01-2010 08:50 PM

I'll probably wait for this one to come out on DVD. There isn't a thing about it that makes me want to see it apart from Paul Rudd.

Schlomey 08-01-2010 09:00 PM

Paul Rudd makes me happy . I love his movies especially Wet Hot American Summer and I Love You, Man.

I will see this one but yeah I rarely pay movie theater prices for a comedy. if i'm spending that kind of dough I better see some shit blow up.

And that is why Michael Bay is rich. Thank you for destroying cinema, Scholmey.

Schlomey 08-01-2010 09:30 PM

it's their fault! Even the matinee shows cost 7 fucking dollars. Explosions or torrents. My only 2 options.

$7 is great. Tickets are $12.50 for all show times here. Fucking Scotiabank buying out all the theatres.

Schlomey 08-02-2010 09:54 AM

I would NEVER pay that much for a film. That is 4.50 more than the cheap seats at Camden Yards to watch a baseball game.

Mike Honcho 08-02-2010 11:13 AM

well Hello Schlomey, while I appreciate you trying to set me straight on my forum posting, I personally do not give a fuck.

so....

yeah.:|

Schlomey 08-02-2010 11:28 AM

LOLz

Mike Honcho 08-02-2010 11:29 AM

What a rebel.

Jeritron 08-02-2010 04:18 PM

I can't imagine thinking 7-10 dollars is too much to see something I want to see for 2 hours.
Though, I love going to the movies so perhaps I get more entertainment out of it than some do.
I usually can't wait to see movies I want to see, and would almost always prefer seeing them on the big screen to watching them at home.

Schlomey 08-02-2010 05:55 PM

i dont like paying that much money for comedies and romantic films (unless the pussy is a guarantee) because I'm a cheap ass Jew fuck.

Mike Honcho 08-02-2010 08:40 PM

I usually just DL movies, unless I go to the drive in, cuz $6 for a double feature, can't beat that.

Schlomey 08-02-2010 08:41 PM

yep. Our drive in is 7 bucks but all kids are free and its a double feature so yeah I love it.

YOUR Hero 08-08-2010 12:04 PM

Went to see Dinner for Schmucks.

Anyone else go and see it? - Funny stuff.

Man has this ever been a quiet year for summer movies when I think about it.

Kane Knight 08-08-2010 09:45 PM

I've heard mixed things about it. Some people say it's good, others say it's bad (despite the cast)

Schlomey 08-08-2010 10:46 PM

saw it. hated it.

Blitz 08-08-2010 11:04 PM

Quite enjoyed it.

Supreme Olajuwon 08-08-2010 11:31 PM

Thought it was very funny. So many uncomfortable moments.

Haha yeah. There were times where I felt embarrased watching

You can Eat my pudding

Hanso Amore 08-09-2010 10:08 AM

I liked it. I like Paul Rudd but wish he was more than the straight man in this one.

The Schlome says....I don't handle those embarrassing moments as well as you.

Blitz 08-09-2010 06:22 PM

Favourite moment is when Paul Rudd fucks up his back and is walking around his apartment weird, and Carell slaps him five. Not even a good description but such a hilarious moment.
