Great promos. Paid attention to detail and planned almost everything out. Good psychology. There is actually nothing I dislike about the Macho Man, except the way he always seemed to shrugging or holding his shoulders high or something. Maybe that's just the way he looks, but that has no bearing on how good of a wrestler he is. I'm just now realizing that I may actually like Savage more then Flair. Either a 9 or a 10 for me while I revisit some matches of the past. Step in to a Slim Jimmy Cones thread... OH YEAH!

Savage was my first favorite wrestler. Since then he has dropped a couple spots but still holds steady @ #4. That's a 10 in my book.

Never watched a bad match of his, and he is one of the most entertaining characters ever in wrestling.

Could cut a great promo as either face or heel and could carry a match with anybody. An easy 10.

He was as crazy as Ultimate Warrior but had the wrestling skills to back it up. Def. a 10.

Everything about him was awesome! He never did no wrong at all in my eyes.

Definately a 10!

Savage was so good at his peak I'm more than willing to overlook the horrible final run in WCW. One of my all time favourites and deserves the 10.

An easy low 9 for me sure like Hogan he may have not been technically gifted but he's one of the most consistant workers and his match with Steamboat was one of the best matches ever.

In response to XCaliber I always thought Savage was pretty technically sound particularly in the WWE.

Not only was he technically sound, he was a perfectionist. He used to drive people nuts with how meticulous his match planning was.

An easy 9 for me..... not quite a 10, but as close as you can come without getting one....

10 because he was geat in the ring and on the mic. Back in the day nobody could match his charisma.

I'm sure a Mrs. Stephanie McMahon Helmsley would agree with my score of a perfect 10. Macho was tha shit....OHHHHH YEEEAAAAHHHHH!

10. He was awesome. Great promos, great look, great outfits, great voice, great wrestler. If it wasn't for Hulk Hogan and his ego, he could've been even greater.

He also served as the inspiration for Jay Lethal's parody character of him in TNA.

Rank a Rapper - Randy Savage.

For his athleticism, his psychology, his charisma and his mic work as a wrestler, especially in the World Wrestling Federation, and especially between 1986-1993, a 10. It's a shame that we'll never see a match between him and HBK, because that would certainly be one hell of a match.

I have to give him a 9 to a 10 .I remember watching a match tween him n Bruno sammartino back then.. that was awesome .Does anyone know what happened to him?

Well, for his time he was a great ring guy and an incredible badass on charisma & mic skills... His backstage shit was legendary so I gave him a 9 until Dante said this and I said... OH YEAAAH! M2 gets the 10...

P.S. Jimmy Cones... Where is the love for Eddie G? We got to list his ranks soon bro... Better than the likes of Nash, Hall & DDP... Help a MexiCAN out!
