I loved the prior AC titles. This one looks...I dunno. It's probably the shitty music and shitty Hollywood effects that have me apprehensive.

The last AC game I played on 360 was emo as hell. Some bridge got blown up that separated my bitch and my kid or something, never got around to finishing it.

I can't open the trailer but I presume this is more of the same then?

The story's always been a tertiary issue in AC games. The "Your wife and kid are missing" thing had almost no bearing. On anything.

This one's more Hollywood music and stop motion style effects while they talk up some bad guy.

Oh, and it looks like there may be helicopters.

Which as far as exciting additions (Snowboarding in Tony Hawk, Motorcycles in Burnout) is so lame.

Namco is saying its supposed to be a rebirth/reboot for the franchise similar in how the upcoming Mortal Kombat is a rebirth/reboot.
