Did the Rock ride the waves of what Stone Cold created? Yes perhaps. But Honestly I don't think that anyone has ever, yes ever, been as good on the mic as the Rock. One promo could get him over as a heel or a face. As far as his in ring is concerned: no he wasn't the best, but he played his character well with the way he wrestled. He also had ridiculously awesome timing with when he hit moves and how he sold them. I'm still trying to decide between a 9 and a 10 here.

I'm quite surprised that Randy savage busted into #2 and #3 for the pure and Jimmy Cones' averages respectively.

Can't help but give him a 10. Without the Rock, the Attitude Era would have been severely less impactful.

I don't think there will ever be a bigger and more important match than Hogan vs. The Rock, and that alone is proof that The Rock deserves a 10. No one has ever had the type of charisma The Rock had in the WWE, and I really would like to see him return for one more match.

10, easily.

The best of all time therefore I give him a high 9 cuz like I said before nobody is a 10 nobody!

10 out of 10, being biased that he was my favourite wrestler growing up, always look up to the guy (i am 5ft 10ins), great wrestler, amazing charisma, can cut an awesome promo, funny as fck, was the reason i watch WWE when i was 12.

A 9 for his lack of wrestling skills,and his pineapple head haircut.

8. Loved him and his promos, wrestling ability was good enough, but he did the absolute worst sharpshooter I have every seen. Ever. EVER!!!

9 - His mic skills/entertainment values bring up his ranking for me and enable me to overlook some of his in ring faults.

10 from me, always entertaining was The Rock.

As somebody else said, and in short, the total package. I gave him a 10.

I feel as though I give out too many 10's...... but Rock is still getting one.....

I think him and Austin were on level grounds. I gave SCSA a 9 so Rock gets the same.

Seriously though, people forget the hatred the man used to get on the net for only having 5 moves, ironically, something pretty much all guys on wwe are guilty of right now.

He was limited in his overal wrestling ability, but that didn't take away from the fact that he was very entertaining, but wasn't a complete total package.

Dean Malenko had like a thousand moves but even if he had charisma and could talk, I'm sure he'd still be not as good as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
