Really already HBK? I hasn't even been a year.

Savio 08-12-2010 06:45 PM

eh I just learned that he owns the center atleast.

ron the dial 08-12-2010 06:46 PM

yeah how dare he try to continue to cash in on his celebrity

The Pope 08-12-2010 06:50 PM

LOL

Sixx 08-12-2010 06:57 PM

This kinda reminds me of washed up 80s rock stars charging fans $1 for an autograph and $3 for a picture.

The Pope 08-12-2010 07:00 PM

My birthday's on Saturday, should I get HBK?

Majunior 08-12-2010 07:03 PM

You should totally get HBK. After all, it's only $5k. Pocket change my man.

Lock Jaw 08-12-2010 07:04 PM

He's gonna open an HBK-college to train regional HBKs to go to various kid's birthday parties.

The Pope 08-12-2010 07:06 PM

Okay, $5,000 is not that much man.

Savio 08-12-2010 07:32 PM

It looks like he's going for the submission here JR

I could hire him for mine but I would be totally broke after.

Swiss Ultimate 08-12-2010 07:44 PM

...a lot of celebrities do this and things like it.

If you book him, tell him that he has to come into the center on a zip line WM12 style.

Providence Peep 08-12-2010 08:10 PM

So, does he need the money? Is he bored? Is it his ego? Anyway, maybe I'll get him for MY birthday.

James Steele 08-12-2010 08:16 PM

It is a way to attract business to his business. People are more likely to go to a brand new family fun center if a celebrity is there then just the same old shit the others have.

Gertner 08-12-2010 08:19 PM

He's not that old. I'm sure sitting around the house all day can only be so much fun. Especially for a performer.

Shaggy 08-12-2010 08:33 PM

What I love is the fact that its $5000 on top of the normal charge you are paying for the party...screw that

Droford 08-12-2010 08:43 PM

How long til HHH shows up at the Family Fun Center to get him to come back to reform DX?

Savio 08-12-2010 09:17 PM

5000$ for HHH to pedigree you

Gertner 08-12-2010 09:22 PM

The big question will be "will HBK smile at your birthday, or is he still looking for it?"

Looks like HBK is taking a page out of Virgil's technique of doing requests.

rated rjo 08-13-2010 01:37 AM

Let HBK shell himself out. He's earned it. Better this than tarnish his WWE legacy by breaking his commitment to stay retired.

Shadrick 08-13-2010 01:40 AM

This isn't him shelling himself out. Celebrities charge for appearances all the time, this is cheaper than it should be and its charitable.

SMH @ the people who don't understand this concept lol

Aguakate 08-13-2010 05:27 AM

Wow, I mean, not only do you have to pay to have your party at the center owned by HBK, but you actually have to pay so that HBK makes an appearance at your activity.

If it's HIS CENTER, couldn't he just be there to meet the people?

NO.

You gotta pay him $5,000.

Waylander 08-13-2010 07:03 AM

What's wrong with HBK making some money?

James Steele 08-13-2010 04:19 PM

At the risk of sounding like Kane Knight, many wrestling fans have entitlement issues.

Count on Danielson and Kendrick to each be one of them.

YoungFlyFlashy 08-13-2010 05:16 PM

Amazing at how clueless wrestling fans are when it comes to celebrity status. Are you guys not aware that celebrities RARELY do anything for free? Actors, athletes, musicians, etc. etc. why would a wrestler be any different? Seriously.

I mean you guys are aware that John Cena makes $2,500 per tweet on Twitter? That's just an inch of what it truly means to have celebrity status.

Cad Bane 08-13-2010 11:49 PM

I would only pay that if he agreed to get on a stage and sing his theme song.

crusnik 08-14-2010 12:15 AM

It's good to see HBK doing something , and something positive at that and not go back on his word n wrestle when he said he will retire. On the 5 grand.... well that's a bit too much thou if he were to appear he should get a little something but let's face it the average fan or person does not have 5 g's to let go like that.

FourFifty 08-14-2010 07:26 AM

Really? "The bigger they are the harder they fall" thing?
Does anyone know of any wrestler that didn't work any job, or not do any fan fests after they retired? Let the dude make a living doing something outside the ring.

SlickyTrickyDamon 08-14-2010 11:06 AM

My Super Sweet 16 Chin Music.

Randy Savage. He just disappeared.

Savio 08-14-2010 03:41 PM

Randy Savage went on to have a successful rap career.

Aguakate 08-14-2010 03:45 PM

It's not HBK charging money for an appearance that I find to be a little wrong...it's the fact that he charges money to appear at an activity done at HIS OWN PARTY PLACE...for which YOU ALREADY PAID in order to use it for your party...

For a mere $5,000, “The Heartbreak Kid” will visit your birthday party and take photos with guests, as well as sign autographs. Note – appearance is limited to 30 minutes and must be held at the Emerald Rainbow Family Fun Center. It is also subject to Michaels’ availability.

He is going to actually spend time at your event at his center and take photos along with signing autographs. Usually, the owner of the place will just stop and say hello and make sure everything is going alright.

Aguakate 08-14-2010 04:09 PM

^^^
This is exactly what I mean.

Cad Bane 08-14-2010 04:25 PM

For $25 and a bottle of Jack - Marty Janetty will also appear and we can have another Rockers reunion!

It isn't his job as owner of the place to do a fucking appearance just because he is famous. It would be a bit more implied if they called it SHAWN MICHAELS' FAMILY FUN CENTER AND SWEET CHIN MUSIC KARAOKE BAR.

Gerard 08-14-2010 04:51 PM

For 5 grand id expect a "massage" with a happy ending from his missus.
