How many WWE PPV's do you buy

In the course of a year. Are you hardcore and buy every month or just once in awhile or none at all.

Chavo Classic 08-13-2010 09:38 AM

"Hardcore" - heh

Living in the UK, we used to get all the PPVs for free. Occasionally, now we have to pay for the big ones due to a mix up between the cable provider and a network/terrestrial channel around 2001.

So generally, I'll pay for Mania or Summerslam but otherwise I'll not bother. If it catches my interest, but isn't a big enough event to warrant a party or gathering (when I would order it) I'll catch it on a live stream.

Triple Naitch 08-13-2010 09:52 AM

Usually Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, Wrestlemania, and possibly one other if the card is good enough.

bostonbill41 08-13-2010 09:57 AM

Usually just Wrestlemania for me, although Im strongly considering SummerSlam this Sunday.

Haze 08-13-2010 10:00 AM

Wrestlemania once a year...otherwise I just stick to the dirt sheets, or finding videos post event.

The Jayman 08-13-2010 10:09 AM

I usually get Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, and Summerslam

Team Sheep 08-13-2010 10:11 AM

We get about 8 a year on PPV and I've bought them all for as long as I can remember. Can't remember the last time I missed one.

Rammsteinmad 08-13-2010 10:22 AM

I have a group of friends where we meet up and watch every PPV. So the cost from each of us usually varies to about 3 or 4 pounds.

Although dunno what it's like in America, but here in the UK we get some of them free.

I can't imagine how much I've saved over the last ten years on PPVs

Londoner 08-13-2010 10:31 AM

Only WM these days, i watch the free ones though.

I remember when they were ALL free and ALL worth watching. :(

Cuse8 08-13-2010 10:33 AM

typically only WM

i remember when i was younger and wcw would have clash of the champions on tbs i thought that was the greatest thing since it was a free ppv'esk event

Thing is every ppv was worth watching not just cause if was free but it was actually good. Ironic how things change.

J Dogg Funk 08-13-2010 10:46 AM

Usually the Rumble (My Favorite), Elimination Chamber and WM. I did get MITB this year beacuse I like the concept and thout it might be good (I liked it). Other than that no.

whiteyford 08-13-2010 10:52 AM

Only the bigger ones, rumble, mania etc. Think we get 5 or 6 free in the UK so unless the buildup sells it i dont bother, just check the results.

Biggz 08-13-2010 10:53 AM

Usually Mania and the Rumble. I can't afford $45 every month for some stupis ass ppv the has nothing good on the card. If they lowered the price I would consider them all but until they do, def Mania and Rumble.

sad but true...

Snowden 08-13-2010 11:01 AM

I generally watch every WWE PPV, but don't pay for them all. Back last year when I was in college and had 4-5 friends who watched with me we bought them every month and split em, but now I just can't shell out $45 a month.

From now on, I'll pay for the big ones, and stream or find a video for the smaller events.

Kane Knight 08-13-2010 11:02 AM

Rumble and Mania tops.

I used to be a hardcore PPV consumer. Buy more than half of them yearly, probably a lot more. these days, the only shows I give a fuck about are the big two above. The Royal Rumble will always have the Royal Rumble, and as such will be exciting. Wrestlemania will always be the show where they pull out all the stops.

The rest? Meh. Do I care if Sheamus, Orton or Cena has the belt? Not really, Feller.

Xero 08-13-2010 11:13 AM

Rumble, Mania and sometimes SummerSlam. Not this year for SummerSlam, though.

Lock Jaw 08-13-2010 11:17 AM

Haven't felt the need to buy a PPV in years.

The only ones I even bother to stream are the Rumble and Wrestlemania. Maybe some other random one if I think the card is good (which is rarely).

Brock 08-13-2010 12:09 PM

LOL! i didnt buy! WWE ppv is free here in the philippines.. tnx to jack tv.. and if i can watch it.. i can download it on HD.. on a secret website.. :))

I'm really torn what to do here. I was all set not to until the end of MNR this week. I always feel better when I don't and the overall card isnt as good as WM.

YoungFlyFlashy 08-13-2010 12:45 PM

Zero.

Download it about thirty minutes after it airs. Watch the match I want then delete.

I do buy every WM Blu Ray though every year.

Mr. Pierre 08-13-2010 02:18 PM

I buy all of them because I'm a huge mark.

BizarroKing 08-13-2010 03:06 PM

I gots no dinero so no PPVs for me for now. Maybe I'd watch them on WWE Classics on Demand when they air

blak23 08-13-2010 05:42 PM

the only ppv i buy is wrestlemania

bigslimjj 08-13-2010 06:12 PM

My friends and I usually buy everyone. There have been some we've skipped but paying 12 bucks a piece between 4 peeps for it isn't as hard of a decision as paying $45.00 alone. I pay for the TNA ones myself because I feel I get more of my money's worth out of it.

XCaliber 08-13-2010 07:10 PM

I've never bought a PPV and I probly never will.

DAMN iNATOR 08-13-2010 07:16 PM

Went with 0, because I go to the bar and watch them for free.

James Steele 08-13-2010 09:02 PM

2-3 a year and it is usually a gathering of friends.

Tb1 08-13-2010 09:04 PM

Used to order every one. Now I'll only order 3-4 a year-ishmael

Domino 08-13-2010 09:04 PM

None. If I watch them it's at a bar with a few buddies.

Crazy Nick 08-13-2010 09:33 PM

To be honest I havent bought a WWE PPV since 2001, the last one I got was WrestleMania X-Seven and I really enjoyed that one. I usually find a stream for every PPV though. The only recent one I really felt compelled to buy was WrestleMania XXVI, but I didnt have the money.

This sorta. I just stream it and then download it 30 minutes after it goes off.

dronepool 08-14-2010 03:23 AM

None. I might have bought one in between 1999 and 2003 if that counts.
