Better Final 3 for NXT: Season 1 vs Season 2
 

Which season do you think had a better final three wrestlers for the NXT finale between the two seasons so far?

Season One:
Justin Gabriel, Wade Barrett, and David Otunga

OR

Season Two:


I've used the spoiler tags just in case anyone missed the show or if U.K. gets NXT shown at a different time.

This season by far. Overall, I'd say this season has been worse overall talent-wise, but the final three this season outshine all but Barrett in my opinion.

I didn't really watch either season but...

Season 2 for sure. Had no doubts Barrett was gonna win, and honestly I only cared about the Danielson/Cole feud. This season I have no idea what's gonna happen and I like it.

If Low Ki doesn't win WWE is clueless on how to make a star. Alex Riley is just muscle bound freak Vince likes to master bater too. Joe Henning is going nowhere until he changes his name.

Destro, for the love of god, just answer the question. Stop making everything confrontational.

By this logic, shouldn't someone other than Low Ki win? The point of the win is to get them over more than they are. Kaval doesn't need that, he'll be fine on his own. On the other hand, Riley and Hennig could both use it to establish themselves.

Henning needs to CHANGE HIS NAME! Riley has no talent at all. Henning is the only other one who should win.

season 2 imo but its close we all know how wade turned out and im partial to gabriel but otunga is just god awful so hennig,kaval and riley with the slight edge

The only stuff of Alex Riley I have seen is his appearance on Raw on Monday. He seemed to show at least some charisma.

Tell Xero to do the same its rude to correct someone all the fucking time. I hope his feelings are hurt because of that. He deserves it.

Anyway, back on topic. Gabriel's okay but I'm not a fan. I'll take anyone from this final three over him.

I like this season's final three because I'm not sure who will win. It was pretty obvious last season that Barrett was going to win after Danielson was taken out.

Otunga on the mic gives me migraines.

I liked the Daniel Bryan/Cole angle in S1 and haven't watched all of S2 but from what I seen, S2 has the better final 3 thanks to Kaval. He's cool.

Season 2, definitely. Otunga is garbage.

As others have said, it's not nearly as predictable this time. I only wish Husky was in the final three... maybe with Kaval and Riley.

Season 2 easily. But Barrett will be bigger than any season 2 guy, imo.

Actually, "Henning" would be a way to skirt the "WWE GOTS TO OWN TEH NAME!!!" issue that is obviously the reason for the horrible name change (and why some people still don't seem to know, strangely enough, that The Pope and Elijah Burke are the same person... like the face, hair, and 4UP don't give it away).

Although I actually liked season 1 better on the whole for other reasons, the answer to the topical question is far and away the season 2 finalists.

like everyone else has said we all knew barrett was going to win that. this season its completely up for grabs. I really like Alex Riley. he has the most charisma and best image/angle out of the group. He could step in right now and be a good mid-level heel. Like Hennig but not sure exactly where he would fit right now role and angle wise. Kaval is going to be around win or loss and will be excellent regardless.

Season 2, even though I wanted to see Husky make it to the final 3. I'm pulling for Hennig to win. I've waited to see him for a while.

So season 2 gets it overall, I suppose. I'm a huge mark, so that gets season two extra points, and I think David Otunga is absolutely awful, so that takes points away from season one. I'm becoming a bigger fan of Justin Gabriel, though. I thought he looked like a star at SummerSlam.

I agree. I don't know why some people think he is good on the mic. The only people from Season 1 I liked were in order Justin Gabriel and Wade Barrett. I think Gabriel has the in ring ability but Barrett has the mic skills. Barrett is decent in the ring, but nowhere near that good and he needs to get a decent finisher. I like Low Ki, Joe Hennig and Alex Riley. WWE will rig the vote so Riley wins which sucks because he's the one that shouldn't win as the other two know what to do in the ring and Hennig is great in the ring and on the mic he times everything perfectly. Riley rambles on and on. I actually think Kaval is good on the mic as well at least not as bad as people say. it's ridiculous that both Cole and Matthews make fun of him. Husky Harris stayed on way too long as he is sloppy in the ring and last night he botched everything he did. He is extremely overrated. I say this because Vince is high on him and I don't see why. I also got a kick out of Kaval making fun of TNA.

Season 1 of NXT seemed really predictable towards the end. With this week’s eliminations, I had a hard time figuring how who was staying and who was getting the axe. Season 2 by far on this one.

Had Danielson been in the finals instead of A List like he should have, then season one. But as it stands, season 2.

I would love to see Riley win, becomes the Miz's right hand man, the Miz cashes in the MIB and wins the title, and leads a stable.

Toss like Ryder and someone else in as a tag team.
