same here, I wanna see BJ demolish Edgar. Seems like in every single countdown show, they say the same thing all the time; I'm gonna knock him out, I'm gonna make him tap etc etc. BJ better deliver

Kenny Florian is my favorite fighter and he has a better chance at beating Edgar for the belt. I'll be pulling for Frankie.

Gonna give the (very slight) edge to BJ. I doubt he knew what Edgar was bringing the first time. This time it should be a little different. Either way, gonna be a great fight.

Got back at a perfect time for the last 2 fights. I don't know who I want to see win out of Randy and Toney, I like Toney the boxer and Randy the MMA fighter. I'd have thought Randy is basically too experienced/smart and playing his own game to let himself take the big shot from Toney that could end the fight.

Edgar owned Penn tonight. Looked as sharp in the last minute as he did in the first.

edgar is weird. he has cardio/speed but i can't see him finishing anyone at a championship level. i don't think the belt will be on him for long, but i think it moves mma into a new generation. all the champions have excellent fitness as well as technique now.

also couture/toney was comedy. toney is like a donut walking on cocktail sticks. it was embarassing and hilarious how easy he got took down. i wanted couture to punch him out.

he just has shit cardio. once he knew he wasn't gonna catch edgar his heart went out of it. i have no idea why he didn't take the fight to the ground more, it was the only time it was a competitive fight.

Not too excited about the light weight division anymore. They used to be the guys who go balls out and you know you're going to get a great fight. I get the feeling now that we'll see a lot more decisions.

Frankie Edgar is legit.
I had my doubts about his skills going into this fight. But watching how he was able to completely nullify Penn through all 5 rounds, made me realize that this kid has some serious skills. |
