New self titled album leaked a little while ago. Listening to it right now, and I dunno. It's good and all, but it just feels like more of the same. In 4 albums, I don't really feel like they've evolved at all. Which isn't really a bad thing, but they are never going to top antics that way.

Also, I think it is dumb when bands release a self titled album well into their career.

Last few tracks are pretty good though.

Thought Interpol was a pretty well liked band on TPWW.

I heard this about a month ago. The last few tracks are decent but most of the album sounds like one long song to me.

I agree. I think it's got to be because they didn't think of a better one, couldn't be arsed to think of a title, or feel they have "re-invented" themselves or the opposite and "gone back to their roots".

Either way, I agree. It's shit.

Haven't heard this yet but yr. review pretty much sums up exactly what I thought this album would be
