Yeah, hopefully it's worth it.

That's not the thing. I'm not questioning his abilities, I'm questioning the WWE's.

Their capacity to, you know, handle the guy in a way that makes this all work out in the end. They've mishandled more talent than most companies will ever even touch...

Though it would be awesome to see him break Triple H in half and ask, "where's the cream filling? "

I always thought that they should do that with him. I mean hell im waiting for him to make his in ring debut right now. With all the problems that he is causing Regal, I wouldnt be surprised if his opponent for his first match was Regal.

They tried this with Perry Saturn. Let's hope it works this time.

Actually, with Regal, he's been so good ay working the Eugene storyline that I wouldn't be surprised if down the line he's either given the opportunity to stop taking care of the guy or beat him up or something, and ends up showing a heart of gold and saves Eugene.

Saturn was beng punished for his actions in the ring. He played. This might be a little different.

Also, Eugene turning into the savant was pretty much called by everyone. This story has been done many times before with different setups but the same conclusion. Hell, the last time I remember it being done was with Regal and Tajiri. Funny how they'd use the same straightman for the whole thing. I also notice that in this Eugene update that there are significantly fewer people claiming that Eugene disgusts them. I think those people all stopped watching Raw. Maybe now that Dinsmore has had a chance to actually play the Eugene character people won't be quite as disgusted as they were when the saw him for FIVE SECONDS in his first appearance.

I don't know if the guy Eugene is based on really is handicapped, but they shouldn't be doing it if he is. However, Dinsmore will continue to be the man.

I assumed that their original story was truest and that soon every wrestler in the WWE will be based on a character from a Ben Stiller movie.

I was hoping Kane would come down yesterday to punk out Regal but then Eugene would go nuts and destroy Kane and nobody would know what the hell was going on. I woulda marked out.

Though I still don't like the gimmick.

I figured they would turn it into more of a pity gimmick where wrestlers would go easy on him in the ring and the such. This sounds better, but I'm not really sold on the character working in the ring.

Rainman would be awesome indeed, even if everyone and their mother called it.

It's interesting that Eugene is growing on people, just like TourettesDust sort of did. When that gimmick was first rumored, people just turned on it, but ultimately, lots of people were entertained. I guess that proves you really need to give something a chance before you open your mouth.
