Should HBK beinducted to the Hall of fame this year?
Shawn Micheals has retired saying he, if anything will only do a few appearances. I assume to market D-X merchandise at christmas. With that said think he should be inducted this year or have to wait another year or two. Also note it seems once your inducted the trend is you come out of retirement(Hogan,Flair,Hart)
On a side note when if ever will the Rock get in? Pretty sure he isnt coming back. |

If the rumours that next year's Hall of Fame will focus on WCW wrestlers are true, then I'd definitely wait out on Michaels getting in. Michaels should be the main guy that goes in whatever year he does get inducted.

Yeah, I'd wait on HBK, cash in when remembering him garners even more nostalgia.
As for Rock, I'd say it'll be quite awhile...the WWE is probably still holding onto a shred of hope that he'll make appearances in the squared circle, and don't want to put him out to pasture prematurely. |
I'd save HBK for another year. If it's WCW theme I'd think the names would be Sting (if he's not in TNA anymore), Goldberg, Tony Schivonie, and others.

Dont they usualy start announcing right after the rumble. i dont see sting going in this year. Most likely it will be WCW wrestlers who wrestled for WWE, Like Goldberg maybe DDP

I think Shawn Michaels should not be in the Hall of Fame this upcoming year, since it is mainly going to be WCW themed, he is way out of place there. Maybe the following year because, it would make more sense for him to headline the Hall of Fame class, instead of being overshadowed by former WCW talent.

Shawn did way more with his career, and to induct him as part of the Rockers alone would be an insult to everything he achieved after that. I'm not even sure that Jannetty deserves a spot in the HoF. Then again, we already have Koko B Ware and Pete Rose, so I guess we'll see Marty inducted by Shawn in 2014. |
doubt it Jannetty will induct Michaels will be HHH. but yeah wait few years.

If the HOF actually meant something, I would say they would have no choice but to induct him right away, as he revolutionized wrestling in the 1990's...... but since Wrestlemania is in Atlanta, they need to keep the WCW theme in order to plug their product..... HBK should be inducted at a Wrestlemania in Texas or at MSG......

Def too soon and not with the Class of WCW... Plus Sting won't be inducted while he's in TNA kids...

I have a feeling Mania 30's HOF is going to be huge. Will probably be done in the MSG Theater. I could see them doing Rock and HBK at once or something.
I could also see them doing an all Kliq one, simply because it's Mania XXX and it fits the old DX image. |
I'd say hold it off for at least a couple of years cuz there quickly running out of good induction choices at the rate their going already with that said I'm interested to see who they are this upcoming year.

I think next year they should go the WCW route as well, go with Goldberg as the headline add Rey Mysterio and or Chris Jericho. Several others they could include (some may already be in) Mene Gene, Kevin Sullivan, Randy Savage, Booker T...
It could be a very interesting show.... Have Goldberg ref the co-main event at Wrestlemania, maybe The Undertaker match. (I'd like to keep the main event clean of any gimmick aside from maybe a title unification) If your going to do a WCW HOF year you have to look at the facts, Goldberg, Booker T, Chris Jericho, and Rey Mysterio were the most successful during an after their WCW career. I think a smart way to to go would be this for the show... Main Inductee - Randy Savage Co-Main Inductee - Goldberg Rey Mysterio & Dean Malenko Kevin Sullivan If there were another backstage guy bigger than Sullivan I'd pick him but I think that is the most realistic to what we could get. |
Inducting Shawn Michaels now would kind of 'blow their load' on the whole nostalgia feel.
Assuming he stays retired for good, I'd say wait it out at least five years. Surely there are other people who can still go in before then? |
i would not induct Mysterio or Jericho until after they retire, WCW or not. They are still fully active contracted wrestlers with many years still left in them.

Not yet. I wanna see the L.O.D.,Luger,Goldberg,Arn,Tully etc. in Atlanta. Taker and Shawn are going the same year. The next time their in Texas I'd bet.
