kinda underwhelming imo

SuperSlim 09-09-2010 06:07 PM

I am definitely diggin the line up. Pillman. 2 Cold Scorpio. Hakushi. :D

4 knuckles up 09-09-2010 06:08 PM

Great line-up. Would have loved to have seen a Londrick match or two there.

YoungFlyFlashy 09-09-2010 06:25 PM

No Rockers?

bigslimjj 09-09-2010 06:56 PM

Van Dam...The highest flyer in the line up. I'm lovin Michaels vs. Vader. What time is it? It's time to play the pain game! lol.Kai en tai made this lineup?

Fox 09-09-2010 06:58 PM

omfg finally.

I've been saying for years and years that WWE needs to utilize its incredible library of cruiserweight matches and make a fucking best of CW DVD, and even when everyone said "yeah, right, they'll do it after the Best of Rikishi DVD comes out," I knew they would be smart enough to pull the trigger on this.

My own complaints are that there are too few WCW cruiserweight matches, only one Kidman match (he had countless unbelievable matches in WCW), the inclusion of what I see as unnecessary additions in HBK vs. Benjamin, TLC 1 and Mysterio/Guerrero from Halloween Havoc, and I also feel they should've chosen a different Guido/Crazy/Tajiri match from ECW, as they had FAR better encounters than the one at ONS.

CWK 09-09-2010 07:03 PM

This DVD lacks the RVD vs. Bam Bam Bigelow match in ECW where Bam Bam was in the crowd and RVD jumped off of the top rope all the way over the barricade, into the crowd and front flipped onto Bam Bam. That was the ultimate flight.

YoungFlyFlashy 09-09-2010 07:06 PM

Going to buy it, but it seriously lacks ECW/WCW. Shawn vs Vader and Shawn vs Benjamin is a waste of space since they are already on other dvds.

Xero 09-09-2010 07:08 PM

WWE always seems to cut ECW and WCW short unless it's promotion-specific or on someone who didn't have a very long run in WWE. Just look at how thin Jericho's DVD is in terms of WCW and ECW content.

The Fugitive 09-10-2010 01:22 AM

Where in the blue hell is Pillman vs Liger from Superbrawl II?

Of all the matches they could have chosen, they chose a Heat match????

MaxPower 09-10-2010 08:37 AM

Its missing RVD and Sabu vs. Hayabusa and Jinsei Shinzaki from Heatwave '98

Swiss Ultimate 09-10-2010 10:20 AM

Rarely buy these but...this one

Pretty sure they were going for matches that were never released on DVD, and I think the majority of RVD vs Lynn are already on DVD.

Ermaximus 09-10-2010 10:29 AM

Not too shabby. I agree they needed a Londrick match (preferably the 4 team ladder match against MNM, Hardys, and Regal/Taylor from Armageddon a few years back). I dont get why they put Heat and Superstars matches on there in favor of more ECW/WCW stuff, but what can you do? No Jung Dragons either? :/

Side note: Why is there a Waltman match on this?

Swiss Ultimate 09-10-2010 12:39 PM

As much as you hate Xpac you have to at least admit he has been good in the ring and was capable of some great matches. Pac in WCW was awesome.

I saw him live in 2006 at a FIP show and he had a really good 4 minute match with...I think it was Roderick Strong...anyways, he used his WWE music and everything. Pretty funny.

Chavo Classic 09-10-2010 01:15 PM

I might have to purchase my first WWE DVD in years

They chose the one that will have the most "WWE" feel to it.

I know for a fact that they've only released maybe one or two of RVD/Lynn's matches from ECW, and that there are still a couple more that have not been released on a WWE DVD. Choosing RVD vs. Lynn from Heat and Tajiri/Guido/Crazy from ONS is an obvious move to keep the DVD with a WWE feel, which is bullshit.

Joe Kerr 09-10-2010 01:53 PM

Should have put RVD Vs. Jeff Hardy Ladder match for IC or Hardcore, title i beleive

It's on a lot of DVD's all ready.

Fox 09-10-2010 02:15 PM

Matches I Would've Liked to See:

- Super Crazy vs. Little Guido vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri - (ECW Television Championship - ECW on TNN 1999)

- Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Blitzkrieg - (WCW Monday Nitro)

- Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Billy Kidman vs. Juventud Guerrera - (WCW Cruiserweight Championship - Starrcade 1998)

- Dean Malenko wins the Battle Royal and faces Chris Jericho for the CW Title - (WCW Slamboree 1998)

- Juventud Guerrera vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs Billy Kidman vs. Blitzkrieg - (WCW Cruiserweight Title - Monday Nitro April 19th, 1999)

- Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Ric Flair - (WCW World Championship - Monday Nitro)

I could go on forever, but those are some really key moments that I would've loved to see.

Rammsteinmad 09-10-2010 03:31 PM

Any Rey Mysterio VS Billy Kidman match from WCW early 1999 woulda been nice to have on there, but Mysterio didn't have the mask then, so no.

The Pope 09-10-2010 03:35 PM

I still remember the HBK vs Benjamin match:

Obviously WWE wanted to show us what would have happened at Hardcore Justice.

Loose Cannon 09-11-2010 12:22 AM

yea, it's ok and definately "good" for a WWE produced DVD on this kind of stuff. But there's a lot of stuff that doesn't belong there and they really didn't utilize the "best" matches for a some of the wrestlers. Some matches don't even belong on this as well

DaveBrawl 09-11-2010 10:10 AM

La Parka!

Beth Phoenix Fan 09-12-2010 09:41 PM

Kid Kash Should have been on this dvd
