What's the deal with Matt Hardy?
Matt Hardy was sent home from World Wrestling Entertainment’s ongoing tour of Europe today, company sources have confirmed.
There was concern over Hardy’s condition backstage at yesterday’s SmackDown live event in Minehead, England. That is also we know as of this writing. Hardy’s issues follow an incident at last week’s live event in White Plains, New York where he was scheduled to team with R-Truth against Luke Gallows and CM Punk. Company sources indicate there was concern over his condition that day too. It’s said that Hardy left the building after officials spoke to him and never returned for his match. Hardy posted a peculiar message on his Twitter account late last night, writing: “Good Night Earth.. And remember, life is special.. http://bit.ly/bPRN8J Godspeed everyone.” The enclosed link directs to Jeff Hardy’s video announcement last month that he is going to be a father. What's that all about? |
How are we supposed to know?

Cheeseburger overload :p

Didn't he have ankle problems, or was that kayfabe?

Maybe it's related to that intestinal shit he went through... or maybe his monthly case of PMS was too debilitating this time around. I'd say he's the Percy Harvin of the WWE in that there's always a condition related to a condition that causes him problems, but Matt's not as good an athlete nor as important to his team to warrant such an analogy.

Apparently Matt went out for Chinese food and overdid it again. Then he apparently got into Jeff's weed and went on twitter again...
That is my assumption. |
Seems a bit odd this time though. They usually don't send someone home unless there is other "issues" a.k.a. Serena.

Damn. Not another one. RIP Matt. |
WHAT!
|
I checked PWinsider and there was no such report.
|
Oh my god no...
Edit - Newstead I hope you're right. |
I was gonna say, are you fucking kidding me? Why in the fuck would you post something like that if it isn't true.
|
Dude if you posted that knowing its false, thats pretty fucked up.

To his defense, he was probably trying to get a rise out of everyone and try and cut a joke. Granted, he's a fucking schmuck, and the joke failed brutally.
Carry on. |
LOL
MOFO that was hilarious. |
Here's a better one
World Wrestling Entertainment have come to terms on the release of Matt Hardy as of today, September 12, 2010. We wish him well in his future endeavors in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. |

Lol at Mofo.
|
My initial thought was that he is trying to get his release so that he could join Jeff in TNA. Dunno why thougbh, he won't (or shouldn't) get the same treatment as Jeff did.
|
I can only hope that MoFo copied that from somewhere else and didn't know it was bull. Otherwise, what a fucking clown.
|
|
lol @ this whole thread.
Simple answer - he was in Minehead. These are the sort of people in Minehead - http://curtisnet.co.uk/images/2005/h.../minehead2.jpg Those people have other people worrying about their condition, trust me. |
drug overdose

Nice family photo addy... :D

Matt's just a fucking drama queen just like his brother. Posting cryptic shit to make people talk and worry about him. He loves getting the attention, since it's the only way he can separate him from everyone else on SmackDown. He is a slightly above-average wrestler at best.
|
So in TNA that means instant tag titles for him and his bro plus the world title?
|
He is FAT, that is all.

I have really supported Matt Hardy in the past. I was right into him when I started watching. His European Title win made me mark out. Mattitude really showed what the guy could do as a performer, as Hardy proved he could have a personality, handle a bit of responsibility on the mic (that sadly hasn't transitioned over into many of his other characters) and could be a star without his brother, Jeff.
2005 made Matt Hardy one of the hottest stars in wrestling, and sadly, it was never capitalised on by the WWE. That was a creative and financial mistake, in my opinion. Since then, Hardy has proven to be a solid ring general, but not much else. The next biggest thing he had going for him was his heel turn after his ECW Title run, and while his heart was in the right place, the WWE couldn't work out whether they wanted him to be a main eventer, a mid-carder or an enhancement guy in the role. RAW fucked his heel turn up. But lately Matt has just been there. Solid in the ring, yes, but not good enough to warrant a licence to fuck-up all the time. It's very rare to be sent home from a tour such as one of Europe, and Matt's position with the company is probably being debated with higher-ups. The biggest thing Matt has on his side at the moment is that he probably moves a bit of merchandise and the WWE probably don't want TNA to get their hands on both Hardys. I'd rather see that happen than Matt continue to be stagnant and not worth the investment, though. |
Am I the only one that doesn't have a damn clue what's going on?
