Biggest Waste of Talent

Who's being wasted the most?

I'd say its Bourne right now. In all the time I've watched him, I cannot recall him ever saying one word on RAW- NOT ONCE - and his recent push went nowhere.

Next Big Thing 09-19-2010 12:06 AM

Honestly... Regal and Goldust. They can do more than comic relief. If Goldust went vicious heel again he could have one more great run. Regal as Co- GM on Smackdown or managing someone would be good use for him.

Evan Bourne is another good one.

I also have to say Natalya Neidhart & Gail Kim. Why Natalya acts as a valet while Jillian and Alicia Fox wrestle is beyond me.

This guy is wasted 24/7

VSG 09-19-2010 12:09 AM

Pick a wrestler at random and there will be people who will suggest he/she is a contender for this thread. Far too many to mention individually, and that is a shame.

Triple Naitch 09-19-2010 12:13 AM

Teddy Hart. But it's his own fucking fault.

Regal. I'll kill to see him go again.

YoungFlyFlashy 09-19-2010 12:20 AM

Kofi Kingston and MVP

Lock Jaw 09-19-2010 12:29 AM

Regal is probably by far the most talented guys on both rosters and is utterly wasted. A large part of that may be his own fault, but he should be solid midcard at LEAST. Not comedy jobber.

I watched some of his work, then saw his shoot video. All the fucker did was bitch and moan that since he was a Hart and that he was "a born again christian" he should have an automatic job.

The Pope 09-19-2010 12:53 AM

I think Bret Hart denies Teddy as a relative. I know I would.

Schlomey 09-19-2010 01:04 AM

Regal is my sentimental vote but I also will throw out Ken Kennedy in WWE...but again, MOSTLY his own fault.

Snowden 09-19-2010 01:09 AM

Zack Ryder. Fucking love that guy, and he's an absolute joke right now. His run in ECW was gold, I wish they just booked him like that in the Raw midcard.

Schlomey 09-19-2010 01:10 AM

I agree 100 percent snowden. I LOVE me some woo woo woo.

rated rjo 09-19-2010 01:19 AM

Sometimes I think it would make more sense to just fire 10 people from both rosters, not hire anyone new for a couple of months, then watch while everyone gets used somewhat regularly on both RAW and SD.

Nobody gets wasted.

Except these guys:

Way to steal my joke, rated rJERKo

Mr. Nerfect 09-19-2010 01:59 AM

William Regal is a good pick. The man is so fucking talented, and yes, his derailed push was his fault. It's sad, though. I would love to see Regal get one more chance. If he does get that third strike, they release him, and Regal goes elsewhere. It's not exactly the end of the world.

I feel that a lot of talented guys on RAW and being pretty much wasted right now. Yoshi Tatsu could really wrestle and do some great things if he was given a storyline and some build. Send him to SmackDown! with Goldust, and have them feud with Dashing & Dangerous. Japan will love the feud.

Evan Bourne is another guy that is going to waste. I think the WWE should do an impromtu draft for the move to SyFy and move Bourne to SmackDown!. The work he could do over there would be tremendous. Hopefully he could get a nice little IC Title run.

Zack Ryder should be moving up the card, and not being used as the comedic relief he currently is. Likewise, for a performer of his calibre, Primo is hardly being used at all. Please move him to SmackDown!, let him feud with Chavo Guerrero or something, and be awesome. Chavo is another one -- the guy can really wrestle, and if they built it up, a feud between him over Dolph Ziggler over the IC Title could mean something. The Guerrero name could move merchandise, too.

Then there are the women. Gail Kim and Natalya come to mind. These girls really don't do much of anything, and I have to ask "Why?" Put the Women's Title on Natalya, ASAP. Move Gail Kim to SmackDown! and let her work with LayCool.

I'm sincerely hoping that all of the promos he's cutting with Edge lead to some sort of match between the two, where Ryder is surprisingly portrayed as legit.

Mr. Nerfect 09-19-2010 02:26 AM

I like that they've paired Edge and Zack Ryder back together. As soon as Edge ended up a heel on RAW, I've hoped they'd do it. It fits Edge's character, and plays off their past relationship well. The trick is to not make Ryder look like a joke. When Daniel Bryan wins the US Title, I hope that they let him defend the title essentially every week, and that Zack Ryder gets a good showing with Bryan. A ten-minute match between the two on RAW one week would be awesome.

Ryder could get insanely over helping Edge win matches here and there, and then being the target of a face's revenge. For example: Edge defeats Triple H with Zack Ryder's help; the next week, Triple H faces Ryder and while The Game goes over cleanly -- Ryder puts up a hell of a fight and is elevated by the performance. Ryder could pick up some big wins in tag team matches with Edge, too.

Rammsteinmad 09-19-2010 02:36 AM

Far too many people to mention. Rob Van Dam, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas come to mind.

Rammsteinmad 09-19-2010 02:37 AM

Whoops, and Carlito.

Now that cool

Chavo Classic 09-19-2010 07:48 AM

Paul Burchill. I was really hoping that Ripper gimmick he had in the last few days of ECW in his feud with the Hurricane was going to go somewhere.

bigslimjj 09-19-2010 10:09 AM

Fortune, because they have to fight the guys from Elderly Championship Wrestling instead of being the main focus of TNA as they should be. Bound for Glory is their WM and the young, potentially great wrestlers in the company are in an 8 man tag,and a six man tag, with a bunch of old fucks. Hernandez isn't even on tv anymore. In WWE I'd say Christian is being wasted. If they would have given him the ball instead of Swagger they'd have a hit on their hands instead of a lispy miss.

Destro 2.0 09-19-2010 12:51 PM

I know that he is IC Champ but Dolph Ziggler there is so much he can do. Hell look at the Summer of 09 that mother fucker was on fire. Christian is being wasted but everyone always bitches about that.

Evan Bourne has proven that he can work with anyone no matter how big or small. He really needs to go to Smackdown. Even main event slot with Taker on Smackdown just once for 20 minutes would be awesome.

As for TNA lets just say everyone under 40. They hav really fucked up this TNA vs ECW thing they have going. But then again thats TNA what haven't they fucked up?

Attitude99 09-19-2010 01:29 PM

D'Lo Brown
Shelton Benjamin
Evan Bourne

Eklipse 09-19-2010 01:43 PM

Goldust, William Regal, and Evan Borne.

Goldust is a former IC Champion (held when the title actually MEANT something)
Regal is a hell of a wrestler and one of the very best heel characters ever.
And Borne is just fucking awesome. He would be great in TNA.

Beth Phoenix Fan 09-19-2010 02:21 PM

Chris Masters
Christian
William Regal
Goldust
Evan Bourne
Drew Mcintyre

all of these superstars should be getting major pushes

SOCCER LEGS 09-19-2010 02:32 PM

not sure why everyone is jumping on evan bourne's dick... he's way too small to be a credible force in the ring, and all he has going for him is his athleticism. also the way he smiles all the fucking time pisses me off beyond belief.

Rammsteinmad 09-19-2010 02:42 PM

I think people like Evan Bourne are still too young in their WWE careers to be classed as a waste. How long has Bourne been in the company now? For such a small guy some of you sound like you expect him to headline Wrestlemania already.

I would rather see Bourne make it than Mysterio.

They should bring back the cruiserweight title...or Lightheavyweight, since I prefer that one.

SOCCER LEGS 09-19-2010 02:56 PM

i would love to see a cruiserweight division in WWE, but to be honest i don't really see it happening.

my reasoning is that cruiserweight matches tend to be pretty spotty, with a lot of high risk, dangerous moves being performed. WWE seems to be taking a safety first policy towards the matches they put on, and a cruiserweight division wouldn't be that great given that sort of policy.

I disagree with RVD and Shelton.

RVD was about where he should have been when he first debuted... upper midcard holding the I.C. championship. The shit with Kane was stupid so I can't argue there... but after that was done and he came back from injury he won Money in the Bank and beat Cena for the WWE Championship. He lost the belt after he got arrested for drug possession and had to be suspended. Plus he was not ashamed to admit to his love of ganja... sure it's retarded to keep a wrestler down because he likes to smoke pot and pop some fun pills... but it's Vince's company and you can't blame him for wanting his champ to be reliable and not on the cover of High Times.

I think Shelton got a great opportunity in his mini feud with HHH. Fact of the matter is, Shelton sucked on the mic and couldn't convey any type of personality... that's why they brought his "mama" in and when that didn't work dyed his hair gold. You have to be able to show some sort of charisma if you want to escape the midcard.

I do agree that Charlie never got a fair shot though.

Absolutely fucking not. He left a guy a fucking quadriplegic. Accident or not, he's lucky he kept a job at all in a sport where a guy gives their body to you and expects to be able to walk out.

Rollermacka 09-20-2010 12:10 AM

El Dandy, the man had the blessing of Bret Hart. How many people can say that they have that?

Seriously though, all of the luchadores were amazing in WCW. Ciclope, Lizmark, Damian, Juvi, Psicosis, the Villanos and Super Calo. Even though he wasnt a "luchadore" Blitzkrieg he was amazing. La Parka vs Randy Savage should have headlined Starrcade. :shifty: Los Fabulosis (El Dandy and Silver King) were an amazing team with Miss Hancock, but WCW refused to push them :'(
