Seen that and gotta say the voices were done pretty fucking well. Wonder how they did it.

I should be more clear...wrestlers with reoccurring roles on kid's cartoons.

Sgt Slaughter was a major character on GI Joe.

Hogan and friends was a kid cartoon that featured the likes of Hogan, Junkyard Dog, Piper, and I think Sheik. Sgt. Slaughter was a perfect fit to be in the GI Joes too.

During the mid to late 90's and into the early 2000s I don't think any wrestlers were good fits for children's cartoons. All the women were whoring themselves out in bra and panties matches. The top guys were all fucked up on pills and telling people to "suck it," drinking beer and flipping off the bird, talking about their favorite types of pie, putting people in coffins/ trying to sacrifice them or spray painting NWO on wrestler's backs.

As far as today... I don't think there are any children's cartoons left... plus would you really want to hear Randy Orton or Edge doing voice overs for a cartoon?

I know its not a cartoon but the Undertaker was on Poltergiest the Legacy.

Wrestling isn't as massively popular or mainstream like it was in the 1980s to early 1990s where people who might not be wrestling fans knew who Hogan or Sgt. Slaughter were. Characters back then were "cartoony" so it was pretty easy to transition them into a cartoon character.

Closest since the Hogan era would be the Attitude Era with Stone Cold but it would be pretty hard using the PG-13/R-rated Stone Cold character in a children's cartoon. Probably doesn't help as much that Nickelodeon and Disney started to do more live-action shows and less cartoon shows by the late 1990s to early 2000s.

Simple......it isn't 1988.
Wrestling isnt as big with kids now as it was then.
Neither are Saturday Morning Cartoons.
Now they have Spongebob and iCarly...shit like that.

There is a current comic book. The WWE Heroes comic book just finished its first storyline.

Going to be continued/spun-off into a miniseries about Undertaker and Rey Mysterio fighting Mexican Zombies or something.

Goldberg voiced Family Guy before, but not as himself.

Hogan did voicework in Robot Chicken a few times, twice as himself, including a bit about "Hogan's Heroes" (heh) which also included Piper as well. "Hey, hey, ya' f*ckin' Nazi!"

The "Hogan's Heroes" bit was priceless.

Also keep in mind too that cartoons nowadays are mostly anime or anime inspired. Not much room for WWE in those circles. They're too busy chronicling the adventures of flying furballs (im not being sarcastic btw).
