Who's new music is worse?
 

There has been a recent outbreak of new entrance music in wrestling lately. In both TNA and WWE. In light of this.Vote on who you think has the worst new music right now. My pick goes to R-Truth. It's just plain terrible. Vote for yours accordingly. I'll post some video of them below.

I don't mind the new R-Truth music, it's much better than his previous one

I love Cody Rhodes' music. Del Rio's suits him. Lethal's theme isn't a WWE ripoff so that's good. Pretty generic, but sometimes generic is good. Dibiase's is pretty bad, but R-Truth's is the worst.

I really hope Cody Rhodes' new entrance is in the new Smackdown game. I will buy the game if it is

I like R Truths new music.

Anything done by TNA should win. All their guys have music that WWE wouldn't even let their jobbers go out too. It's like they went and found all the old THQ produced WCW video games and ripped off the menu music.

Cody Rhodes' theme is one of the best in the WWE right now.

Lethal's is probably worst but all TNA themes are generic crap.

R-Truth's new music is better than his old one. It isn't great, but it's less annoying. Alberto's music is alright. It suits him. Whoever Jay Lethal is, his music is pretty cool. Daniel's music is fine.

However Cody Rhode and Ted's music... I don't like that much.

Ted's new theme is probably the worst WWE theme song in history. It's probably the worst song in recorded history.

Why are there so many threads about themes?

Cody's is great, how the hell can you dog that one?

Because music is very important in setting a mood for a character or an event. A crappy theme song can sometimes mean a character is a total failure. A great theme song can sometimes make you forget about some of the negatives about a wrestler (Zack Ryder.)

This is an excerpt of a paper that I wrote this past semester in a pop culture class about Wrestlemania 17.

"The promotion for Wrestlemania 17 had one of the best promotional trailers that I can recall from any sort of visual media. Nearly every WWE PPV has a music video that promotes the event in one form of another. I don’t that happening before Wrestlemania 17, so I think this was the first time a music video was used to promote a Wrestlemania main event match. The music chosen for the video was My Way (Or the Highway) by Limp Biskit. I was never a fan of Limp Bizkit, but the music was a perfect choice for the rivalry. The video featured clips of Austin and the Rock beating up on each other from the past and also verbal interactions between the two over the years of their rivalry. It was a high octane action packed video that showed the importance of their upcoming encounter in Houston Texas. Of course because of the volatile nature of the rivalry the tag line of Wrestlemania 17 was “Houston, we have a problem.” This music video made me a huge fan of the music of wrestling, and my MP3 player is filled with tons of wrestling theme songs. Not dogging it per say. i just thought of all of the new theme songs they have out right now and listed them. It just seems like there's more new stuff then usual.I personally think Del Rio's and Rhodes' entrance is awesome.

I remember a time when theme music was unique to the wrestlers and was actually good.

I like Ted's new theme. I like R-Truth's theme over the previous one but you can't get the crowd into it so much. That was his bread and butter. I love Eve and she still looks hot dancing but I don't like the song for her to dance to. So R-Truth for worst. I don't care about any TNA themes.

I'm sure by now some of you are aware that I am a huge Ted DiBiase fan but his new theme song doesn't suit him why can't he go back to using a version of Pricless?!? I thought R-Truth new one "Right Time" is a slight improvement over his old one it's not nearly as annoying since he's not constantly asking that stupid question over and over again. Wasn't that keen with Dashing Cody Rhodes at first but it's quickly grown on me it's funny how some lame themes can suit a guy right and yet good ones won't.

Does anyone find it funny that no one voted for a TNA theme?

I think it is funny because no one probably knows half of the themes because no one watched TNA because they suck.

Dibiase's is terrible. I like his old one. Use that or just give him his father's old music.

The main problem I have with R-Truth is that he says "Get Crunk" and it being allowed on PG TV makes me think the WWE management doesn't have a clue what "crunk" actually means.

In Xero's Raw Chat last night I stated that Ted Dibiase's theme song was finally a song that I wouldn't like after repeated listens to.

If i wanted to hear money, I would have at least taken Ted Sr's version...

Is it just me or does anyone get a Patrick Bateman vibe from Cody Rhodes now?

The Legacy theme was pretty great, so Ted switching from that... to whatever the hell that new one is, well... that's criminal.

The only ones I like up there are Dixie Carter's theme, Cody Rhodes theme and Danielson/Sara Del Rey's music. The worst one is easily Ted's new theme. I didn't know Akon made theme music. I know it's not really him, but it has the same style.

I voted for R-Truth's new song. I hate rap and it is just a miserable song. However, equally bad is Jay Lethal's generic "worse than daniel bryan" theme.

I heard some of the superstars get to pick their music. Others are forced to go along with whatever theme they are given

The others in the class wrote about Perry Saturn's foghorn theme.
