Should Monday Night Raw move to Tuesday's?

Think about it. They wouldn't have to worry about MNF, the NCAA national championship basketball game, and holidays messing with their rating.
Would a move to Tuesdays work?

Tuesday Night Raw sounds terrible

Swiss Ultimate 09-24-2010 08:37 PM

Honestly, I'd probably watch it if it was on Tuesdays...especially if it came on slightly earlier.

Shadow 09-24-2010 08:38 PM

No. That's retarded.

No.

Xero 09-24-2010 08:55 PM

It'd be better to move it to 8 than another night.

JimmyMess 09-24-2010 08:57 PM

It would be pretty silly to have "Monday Night RAW on Tuesday!"

hold for amazing laughter/applause

Xero 09-24-2010 08:59 PM

You're a mess, Jimmy.

dronepool 09-24-2010 09:07 PM

8 is too early. I like it on Monday at 9 because at least it's something to watch after a crappy Monday at work.

Would Smackdown work on Tuesdays or Wednesdays?

Xero 09-24-2010 09:10 PM

The only reason they pushed it to 9 was to get it into prime time and being able to get away with more. Especially with their new(ish) direction, I think the earlier start time would benefit them greatly.

Ermaximus 09-24-2010 09:12 PM

I don't think so. Usually when a show or series gets a new time slot on a different day of the week it tends to signify the show is near its end. Granted I don't see Raw ending for a long time, but I don't see a switch to Tuesday as a good idea.

Xero 09-24-2010 09:14 PM

If they continue in the 2s, I could see a problem, but assuming they even back out to a 3+ (which is a good rating in this day and age, let's not fool anyone) I don't see the need to move days.

How many little kids are allowed to stay up to 11?

Is Monday at 9 past your bed time or something dude?:rofl::n:

Kane Knight 09-24-2010 11:11 PM

I think they're probably pretty smart to stay where they are. Even with MNF and the like, there's more people watching on Monday. It's why you can get lower ratings and still more viewers.

Eklipse 09-25-2010 12:11 PM

I hate having to switch between Hoarders and RAW!!!

Tuesday is the 2nd most competitive night of TV behind Thursday, I would bet ratings would suffer more overall then they would benefit from maybe 1/3 of the year competition with MNF.

It really should start at 7 Eastern, so the Cena fans don't miss the ME.

VSG 09-27-2010 12:02 AM

Tomko is not impressed by the suggestion.

crusnik 09-27-2010 12:09 AM

i wouldn't move it , but if they did ,move to syfy, keep it on monday's and replay it at 11
(strictly selfish on that last one, i miss half of raw cause i get home from work around ten)
