Would You Regularly Watch An All Women's Wrestling Show
This is purely hypothetical and I'm not talking about Shimmer or G.L.O.W.
If a promoter got the likes of CURRENT women's wrestlers like Melina, Beth Phoenix, Natty Neidhart, LayCool, The Beautiful People, Awesome Kong, Tara, Mickie James, Taylor Wilde, Hamada, Sarita, Gail Kim, etc... together for an all women's promotion and gave them legit storylines and programs would you become a regular viewer/ fan of the program ala WWE Raw and TNA Impact or would it be something you'd only watch if you happened to catch it or needed fap material? Do you think this could be a profitable venture for the promoter in terms of ticket sales and PPV buys? |

i ment the women...well me to :p

The show would be TV- 14 like TNA. |
id still watch it nude. Probably fast forward the matches (unless something hot happens)and watch the beautiful peoples entrance 100 times in slow mo..
|
As long as it's good I don't care.
|
Probably not.
|
Wrestlicious?
|
If it wasn't crippled by horrid announcing, terrible gimmicks, and obnoxious attempts at "comedy," I'd watch Wrestlicious.

No way. It would be terrible. The best women's match is only as good as an average men's match.
|
The best WWE/'mainstream' women's match is only as good as an average men's match and the female indy bits I've seen aren't a whole lot better. Some of the GAEA women could have hung with anybody although they weren't exactly anything to look at, which would be a big factor for most with something like this.
|
Only if they had Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Tara, Katie Lea, and Sara Del Ray dominating other women's wrestlers.
|
Depends on how the show is booked since TNA for a while managed to make their women's division very good and at times better than the rest of their other divisions although they started to lose focus on the division a few months later.
If its anything similar to how WWE treats its women's division then no since WWE usually doesn't bother with the division except for using it as a piss break segment or when they are promoting someone like they used to do with the Playboy deals. |
If its like Shimmer and the girls actually Wrestle. Then yes I will watch it.

No, because its womens wrestling.
|
Nope...if I want to watch two sweaty people rubbing themselves against each other for ten minutes, it better be men goddamnit.
:shifty: |
If there was decent wrestling and okay storylines I don't see why not....
|
No, because it's like drinking Diet Coke. Why would I drink Diet Coke, when regular Coke is so much better.
|
Maybe if it's an all diva/knockout show produced by WWE. If they get former woman's wrestlers like Ivory, Jackie as announcers/color commentary.
I don't want to watch indy wrestling on television and to say nothing about woman's indy wrestling. Bad production values and all of that stuff doesn't float my boat in any way shape or form. So, it would have to be produced by WWE or TNA for me to have any interest in it whatsoever. Not like what NXT is right now because they have announcers who talk down the women at any chance they get. |
For those of you who wouldn't watch, is it because you don't want to watch women's wrestling or is it because you don't think the quality of matches/ programming would be as good as WWE or Impact?

TNA Knockouts before the Bischoff regime, yes. In fact I believe that was considered at some point. Currently, no
WWE Divas-Hell no! nXt season 3 is pretty much a example why this is not possible. |
Not likely. I actually want the story stuff in wrestling and there's no way I want to feel like I'm watching a soap opera for chicks once a week.

Both. |
Yes. I would. I grew up watching GLOW, POWW, and LPWA from the late-1980s, early-1990s.
|
Would Santina be there?
|
There were points at which the women's division was the only part of TNA I watched for.
And I've watched far worse with some consistency. So yeah. If it were good, I'd watch it. |

I would watch it, but only if it was 1 hour or less in length. I don't think that I could handle anymore than that.
|
If the wrestling was good, then yeah I'd give it a shot.

watching some boxes rolling around on the mat for an hour every week wouldn't be so bad
|
Some of you guys making arguments for quality are looking silly. Like the regular programming is so much better.
In the right hands, with the right headliners, this is something that can and will sustain itself. |
